I paid over $23 for this but I couldn't find them cheaper anywhere else. The first day I got them it rained all day. Nonetheless, it charged enough to light right up. After a second day in the sun, I took them into my closet so that I could better tell how much light they put it out. The flamingos glowed bright hot pink and projected a faint pink light halfway up the wall behind them. Because they are solar, I can put them somewhere around the pool where I don't have power for electric lights.

Eight Month Addendum: Still going strong. I can see the lights 600 feet away at night.

These bulbs are just like the ones I get at the local big box store, some run fine for the expected lifetime, and some are duds and burn out in 2 or 3 days.

I don't know if this is unique to the IKEA halogen lights I am using these bulbs with...but they just don't stay lit. They constantly are out until I tap on them or re-insert them into the lighting socket. IKEA light fixture owners beware...they just don't like these bulbs.

UPDATE: It's been 2 months since I started using these bulbs, and I've already gone through the 12 that I purchased. Don't be fooled...these are super cheap (price, and unfortunately quality) and they don't last more than a month or so. I won't buy them again.

The only good (and accurate) item about this product is that it does indeed fit perfectly in the Dacor Hood. These LED lights aperiodically flicker even when turned to full brightness via the hood dimmer. Even worse is that while they claim to be a replacement for the OEM 75 W bulb the amount of light they throw (Lumens) is truly pitiful. I replaced 45W bulbs with these and estimate them to be half as bright -at best.

I'm not an LED hater, either. I have them throughout my house in both cool and warm versions but will only use them where the light output is equal to or better than the light I'm replacing. They also can't flicker. These are truly horrible -don't waste your money on them.

Beware, this LED version may only use half the power, but it also puts out only about half the light and doesn't work with a rheostat dimmer switch. It's either off or on, no in between. Turned out to be a very expensive kitchen night light.

I purchased this light, because it was cheaper than buying this type of light directly from Dacor for my Dacor stove hood. It is a bright white, not the yellow soft light, like the Dacor light. I purchased this bulb for my Dacor hood. I was notified it should have gotten to my home by a particular date range. When that time passed by about 4 days, I contacted the seller, who said they would replace the bulb (put another in the mail) and I could keep the first one if I got two. I thought that was great. About a week later, I got what appeared to be the first bulb -because of the mail date -and never got another. That makes me think that something somewhere got messed up. I don't expect to get something for nothing, and I am not complaining because I didn't get two (although, of course, that would be nice, as the LED bulb gives a completely different light than the original halogen ones!) but only because the company handling the order didn't seem to do what they said they would. Either they did NOT send out another bulb or someone didn't send out the original order like they should have.

Love the bulb, though. And my recommendation would be, as mentioned above, if you are replacing the halogen bulbs, get two!

This was an excellant energy efficient replacement for my old mercury vapor light that died. I am extremely pleased with the area coverage of the light, it is very similar to the old light, and far wider than the specs show on the mfg website. Also pleased with the brightness, it is more than adequate for my needs and is as bright as the old MV light which was may years old. I would definity recommend this. Fast shipping, the originial delivery noted 1 month, but the light arrived in one week.

NOTE: If you are mounting it on your existing extention arm, there are no instructions or bracket for that. I had to modifiy the bracket from the old light to secure the new light to the extention arm. Minor thing, but note worthly if you are replacing it yourself.

I am sorely disappointed in my Luxo KFM purchase. I had a Luxo "back in the day" (around 1990) and the thing was built like a tank. This new one is on my workbench screaming "Cheap Chinese Crap! I'm Cheap Chinese Crap!"

Credit where it is due, the lamp turns on, and the magnifier doesn't have any optical defects I can see with the naked eye. However, the joints in the arm are loose and nearly impossible to snug up sufficiently to keep them still. The clamp-on base has a cheap screw that runs rough, and the tightening arm is too short. I suspect that's to keep someone from wringing the screw off. Additionally, the socket for the lamp to sit in is far too big, so the lamp literally wobbles in the socket. To top it off, the internal spring that holds the arm in place was broken off inside somewhere, so the whole thing flops around. My only guess is that the QC Dept. was on break when this one came off the line.

Not worth what you're going to pay for it, even if the spring isn't broken. I'd try a different brand, though I don't know which one. This thing is getting returned.

I bought 11 boxes of these (same length and identical box) from Costco within the past couple months, excited that they were such a great price. I installed them along the edge of my ceiling using the provided clips. I was disappointed that they did not put out more light, but I didn't know what to expect. (Some of the LEDs put out dimmer yellow light, whereas others put out greater white lights, which is odd, since they should all put out the same amt of white light.) The clips were fragile and some broke while clipping in the rope light; but if carefully done, they work. The construction appeared to be of good quality, and all of them initially worked out of the box. But one by one, they began to blink off in 3 ft sections until they were completely out. I returned SIX of them a couple weeks ago. TWO more need to go back, as they stopped working. And I don't have high hopes the remaining THREE will last much longer. (They were only installed within the last few weeks to replace the others that stopped working.)

Trust me when I say that these are garbage. Due to some unseen flaw in manufacturing or something, they do not even last two months. I'm not sure how easy it is to return these online compared to returned them to a department store, but I suspect that you would soon be trying to figure that out if you buy them.

Read the other reviews cause the negative comments are true. The colors are not all the same. Some are bright white and some are yellow. I bought 4 boxes to go around my patio. One set doesn't even light when connected to the other strands. It's been outside for the past couple months and inside the tube is rusted already. It is not weatherproof as stated. I don't think it'll last as long as we were hoping for. I don't recommend buying unless you only want to use one strand for a short period of time. Buy two boxes, and good luck the colors will match....

The lights are nice and bright 7 of light strands were all the same level of brightness and 1 of the 8 strands was more of a warm color. I don't know why but wish they were all consistent. The linking together was very easy and seemed tight with the rubber o rings to keep water out. After years of other types of strands randomly going out after just a few years I am eager to see how these last.

My led 139 lumen maglight from Walmart does a slightly better job than this "1600 lumen" flashlight. Technically it should have been at least 10 times brighter. Right?

Disappointing. Very dim light. That one customer image makes it look like its the bat signal on the side of that building, just a long exposure i think. The driver in mine was faulty too, the mode would change every time you turned it off and then on, even if you waited an hour.

I returned this after finding out it was so far from 1600 lumens that it was basically fraud to say it was 1600 lumens. It was not worth the cheap cost to have to use a 18650 battery. In comparison, the Fenix TK41 rates at 800 lumens. You would think this was twice as bright, but you'd be wrong. This isn't even half as bright. I'm not recommending the TK41 because of switch reliability problems, but that thing is REALLY bright, and I doubt Fenix would list their lumens as lower than they really are, so I think their brightness numbers are reliable. And yes, I know I should just send the TK41 in to get fixed.

That said, the blatant lie about the lumens here makes me unlikely to even try another flashlight from NowAdvisor. You just can't trust the label.

Did some research on the CREE XM-L T6 LED and found out it is not capable of 1600 lumens from one LED (which this flashlight has). Here is a quote from the CREE website under XM-L LEDs.

"XLamp XM-L LEDs offer the unique combination of very high efficacy at very high drive currents, delivering 1000 lumens with 100 lumens-per-watt efficacy at 3 A in a compact, 5-mm x 5-mm footprint."

Even if this flashlight was putting out 10 watts, the maximum lumens would be 1000. If you look at the description for this flashlight it clearly says 8W, so the maximum lumens this flashlight can produce is 800.

800 lumens isn't bad but this is still false advertising.

This largely met my expectations as a portable auxiliary light for workshop and garage; it casts a bright wide 'cone' of diffused light out to 15-20 feet. It has a cord with plug on it, but no switch? Maybe I should have paid more attention to the description or maybe another model has a switch, but I expect most lights with a finished plug would have a switch, and those with unfinished tails I would expect to get hardwired. Its a debatable 4 or 5 star point, just be sure you know what you are getting. Using the switch on a power strip is an easy work-around, so I'm otherwise happy with it after the first week.

I have a home theater setup that uses this bulb in the projector. The brightness and color temperature is as good or better than the more expensive brands of bulb. The 50 hour lifespan seems to be an accurate average after having used these bulbs for about a year and is comparable to other alternatives. So far I have had no defective bulbs. For the price it can't be beat.

Remember to NEVER touch the actual bulb in the center of the reflector with fingers or anything else for that matter or you will severely cut down your bulb lifespan. This holds true for ALL halogen bulbs. Handle by the outside of the reflector or the base to ensure you get the most out of your bulb.

My father bought me this XTAR BK10 with bike handle attachment and spare battery because he was worried my bike light wasn't bright enough. Although I think my bicycle light with 10 LED's was fine, the BK10 generally blows it out of the water. 450 lumens is really an order of magnitude brighter than most bike lights with LEDs. Now when I ride, although I aim the light down, plenty of people give me a look when they see how bright it is. It's really like having a car lightit can actually illuminate the road in front of you in the dark.

This torch also comes with a hand strap with an adjustable plastic slider which can tighten it around your wrist so you can let go of the torch, but the torch will not slip from your wrist. I'd like to be able to give a report about night hiking, but I haven't taken it with me yet. I happened to go ona night hike recently with a tiny 1LED torch, so I'm pretty sure this will be more than adequate.

The issues I have with the torch are:

short battery life. 3 hours at max? Sure, it's bright, but it's not long. that's just 3-5 bicycle rides for me, before recharging is needed.

It's not ideal for a bicycle light. The aim of a bicycle light is to both shine light forwards (hopefully providing a bit of road illumination at night), and for others to see you. Many LED bicycle lights are made with transparent plastic, so the light can be seen at 90-360 degrees away from straight on. For example, my previous front torch was completely black, but had two clear plastic slots on the left and right sides which shined light from the torchpeople from the front and the side could see the flashing light. But with the BK10, there are no side slots, it's solid metalno transparent plastic, and the front torch rim extends 3mm in front of the glass coverso the light can only be seen front on. Of course, no one front on will be able to miss you ;)

I hope this review is of some help. I haven't dropped it, or left it at the bottom of the ocean so can't tell you about how rugged or waterproof it is...yet!

This battery powered track light is fantastic! The ceiling lights in my home office are bright enough, but the large monitors on my desk, unfortunately, cast shadows directly on my work area. I installed this wireless track lighting module near my desk and angled all four lights towards my work area. Shadows gone -and no heat nor dangling wires, either.

The four individual lights have 3 LED's each and can be individually rotated and swiveled in any direction. The lamps can be operated full bright or at a reduced intensity. Very versatile.

It is very well constructed and can operate on either 3 or 6 AAA batteries. Various mounting options are available. These are OK. They are easy to install and the fact that you can rotate the lights makes it very practical. Nevertheless, I installed two sets of these in my new house butler's pantry. But even 8 LED lights can't replace an old fashioned incandescent wired light bulb. Let's say it cost me cheaper than having an electrician pull a line to my pantry... but I miss my old house pantry with a light switch.

I don't know what the deal is on apartment complexes using these new ceiling fans that take intermediate base light bulbs, but between a dollar store, a grocery store, Walgreens, CVS, and a hardware store within a mile walk from my apartment, only the grocery store will sometimes have them in stock.

Amazon has these bulbs, they are bright white light not yellow, and are cheap. I bought two of these so I'd have backup. Shipping was great and no broken bulbs.

Can't ask for anything better than that.

Bulb is exactly as pictured, and for a 60W light, burns nice and bright (don't get review that said they are as dim as 40W definitely significantly brighter than compact 40W bulbs). Dimensions given are accurate, but it might not be evident from the photo how compact the bulb is the disproportionately large bulb on a small thread, without a reference object, may look larger.

Dubious features are that the bulb itself bears absolutely no markings, while the packaging only says "60A15CL/INT 130V CLEAR" no manufacturer (unless it's part of that code), not even "Satco", and no country of origin. I think the last is technically a violation of US law. Box also bears check boxes for two varieties of shatter proof coating which are not checked but nobody said the bulb was shatter proof. Also odd that they are marked 130V, when nominal wall voltage for all lower voltage countries is 120V.

This is NOT intended as a negative review threes stars means "neutral", because they do after all make my lamp marked 40W max too hot (hey, you never know, it could have been conservative), so I will not be judging the bulb's longevity any time soon. Based on the completely anonymous manufacture one might expect quality to be random also you might get a long lived batch, you might not. Certainly cheap enough! As of this writing, the best deal including shipping for a moderate quantity seems to be to order ten. Shipping jumps from $3.49 to $6.90 to add an one more bulb, which is kind of nutty.
