These fixtures have two levels of light, full on and, with one more switch, a LED nightlight mode. I tried to mount two in my bath, however and found that they were sometimes out of sync with each other. My contractor had prepared a space for the fixtures to be mounted in the mirror. The backside of the fixture showed in the mirror and ruined the look. It would look great on a wall and there is a mirror that matches it.

After searching extensively for pendant lights to replace the ugly track lights over my bar, I found this one. I was skeptical, as I had previously ordered and returned a couple of fixtures that were flimsy and cheap looking. This set is sleek and contemporary, The few parts that are plastic are of good quality, nicely shaped, and perfectly matched to the metal track. It has the appearance of a much more expensive fixture, and I could not be more pleased!

I really enjoy the look and functality. I did however have to fabricate the connections to match the stock wiring connectors. Pretty simple for anyone with electrical experience, but the everyday user might have difficulty. They look great and add a nice clean look to my gsxr 1000. Well worth the price and I also havent seen any other 1000 with them. I also like the fact you dont have to drill or cut anything on the fairing for them to fit.

I don't own a manual for my 2004 Suzuki bandit 1200s, and looking through the description, It seemed like it would fit. Though upon trying to install the turn signal, it became obvious that the wiring wasn't correct, as mine had three wires and hooked up using a plastic harness, this turn signal has two thicker wires, and metal connectors in place of the plastic harness on my bike. As far as I can tell it's a good product, but because of my wiring problem, (obviously not their fault) I give this a 4/5.GTMax Rock Solar Spot Light K5017 (set of 1) Reviews

This is the first LED solar light I've bought, so maybe my expectations were too high. That's why I gave it 3 stars instead of one. I wasn't expecting it to be bright just wanted a faint light to shine on a tree trunk less than a foot away. But it gives off so little light that we can't see it shining on anything at all, even on the darkest night. The light comes on as the instructions say it's supposed to, but it's not bright enough in my yard to give off enough light to even see that it's on (I had to walk around it and look directly at the bulbs to know that it was on), even though it's not near other lights, and it gets as much sun as the instructions call for. I don't think it's defective, just maybe that 4 LEDs must just not be as bright as I had hoped (although my 4 LED flashlight is extremely bright), or maybe that the solar power unit is not as strong in this as in other applications. Whatever the reason, I would not buy this product again, although I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. I did not return it or contact the seller about the problem because it was several months after purchase before I tried it out.

I ordered these for my backyard. They look better than most of the Rock-Lights in the category so full credit to them on that, assuming you believe a Rock can have a small solar panel in it. I installed them around my backyard which ranges from good sunlight to tons of sunlight. The ones installed in the part shade / part sunlight area stopped working after a couple of days. I moved all lights to the middle of the backyard where they get tons of sunlight and problem solved. Note: I live in San Diego, so not sure in a cloudy area like Seattle how well these would work.Best Deals for GTMax Rock Solar Spot Light K5017 (set of 1)
It looks nice, not cheapy plastic like some are. It's not extremely bright, but it is enough to light a small statue. It stays lit most of the night if not all night. I happened to check it at 4 am and it was still lit. I am very happy with it.Honest reviews on GTMax Rock Solar Spot Light K5017 (set of 1)
I was surprised at 2 things in receiving these (we bought 3.) One is that the faux rock casing really looks and feels like rock. The other is that the light is very bright with wide coverage. Very nice for lighting our Japanese Maple out front and our outdoor thermometer out back. Good value for the quality. Now we'll see how long they last. My experience is the brighter they are, the shorter they last.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for GTMax Rock Solar Spot Light K5017 (set of 1)
The solar garden rock light is exactly what we needed to illuminate our entry door in the dark. We are off the grid and when it gets dark, it gets very dark. The rock provides good lighting of our porch and door and makes it much easier to find the key hole.Philips 36881-1 - LU400 - HPS - 400 Watt - Ceramalux - High Reviews

This light is made of heavy gauge solid copper! The workmanship, features and design are excellent. But the light output is quite wimpy, which works for my application but wouldn't for most. There are plated steel parts that will rust in time. There were no instructions or warranty info in the box, but the Unique Arts website claims it has a two year warranty? All in all, impressive for the price.

I purchased this security light with some apprehension as a solar powered one (different manufacturer) bought several years ago did not perform well. That previous purchase used a 6 volt battery which did not last or could be charged adequately with the solar collector provided. I threw it in the garbage after 2 years.
I went with the LED to reduce the battery drain but waffled between multiple LEDs and the single one per light on this brand. I am not disappointed, the brightness is exceptional even if not equal to a 120 volt halogen. Large reflectors emit good light over acceptable distance and coverage and you can't look directly into the lights they are so bright.
A weakness is that the light will have to be removed (unscrewed) to change the battery (hopefully not often), but it's hard to engineer all the good features into a small package. As well the sensor has limited movability so mounting position is important to get the correct sensor coverage. Reading the settings marks is very difficult as they are the same white as the body. I had to color them with a sharpie.
As with all these motion sensors the motion needs to be at right angles to the sensor for best sensitivity.
I gave it 4 stars only because it's on trial to see how long the battery lasts and if in winter the solar collector will be able to charge the unit properly.
Contacted Cooper lighting and without hesitation they mailed me a brand new replacement No hassles whatsoever.
Great Customer Service.
Will update this post as to the replacement light operation/reliability.

Installed this unit in March 2012 and it worked great. Unfortunately in November 2012 the battery began not to hold a charge. Comes in at right around the exact same output as a 7W CF. Better color balance, but a lot more heat. I was expecting a lot more light out of this little guy.
Oh, and 1 of the 2 I bought popped the first time I turned it on. Probably never sealed right at the factory and lost its gas. So the quality seems suspect too.
I wish it had the smaller power footprint of the CFL, but I figure this will have to do until dimmable led bulbs come down in price, (or until my son grows tall enough to reach the grown-up light switch!)

Would definitely recommend these CFL bulbs. Size of the bulb should definitely be considered if purchasing because they are larger than the standard chandelier bulbs. Definitely put out a lot less heat.
I also had a couple arrive dead-on-arrival. I still buy them because I love them when they are working, but I'll get frustrated easily when they burnout after a couple of months. I would totally buy other bulbs if I could find them.
In summary, I do like the bulbs, but not sure if I could recommend them to apparent flaw in internal construction and longevity.

The good news is I love these bulbs. I wanted a daylight balanced bulb for the chandelier unit in my dining room. The downside is these bulbs don't seem to last long, and they are expensive. So I wouldn't mind paying the price if they would last, but of all the bulbs in my house, these seem to go the fastest. I called Customer Support about problems with the bulb, and they said there was nothing wrong with them. I think they might need to go back and test these out more.I also had a couple arrive dead-on-arrival. Almost ideal replacement for traditional BR30 Floodlight, with a great look (simpler than the corresponding Philips, and very similar to a traditional one). Only problem: while it dims with the right LED supporting dimmer, it still says a little brighter than you incandescent. It also dims without changing the color temperature, which you may like (if you want neutral, soft white even when the light is dimmed), or not (if you want the brownish light of a dimmed incandescent).

I own the black diamond storm, that uses 4 AAA batteries and gives 100 lumens. I mainly use the light for cycling at night in addition to gearing up for night dives.
The Icon 200 lumens is brighter in every mode, including the red night vision mode. However, as noted in other reviews, the center spot is not as focused and gives a wider area of cover. For cycling this works actually great as more of the road is covered. In heavy mist and rain it can cause a bit of light to be reflected back and the light not to be able to penetrate far, however, for normal every day use it is perfect. With the wider beam it makes it also easier to find gear when looking around as i find my vision tends to get focused when using a narrow beam light.
At first i thought the unit would be uncomfortable with the larger batteries, but it is actually more comfortable than the smaller unit that carries the lighting unit and the batteries in one housing. The only thing about the light that worries me is the simple catch that closes and holds the lid on the battery compartment, i have my doubts as to how long it will hold, as it does not seem robust, but i may be wrong there.
All in all a very good light and very powerful, but does take up some space to carry. The black diamond storm is a very powerful light that can easily slip into a pants pocket or clove box for when needed.
Review update.
I normally cycle at night alone, but did a ride with a friend the other night that had forgotten her light at home. The Icon had a large enough beam to light up the road easily for both of us cycling next to each other, without me needing to turn my head in her direction. Highly recommended for cycling and walking.
I also won't go into lamp details because if you're reading this, you're probably smart enough to also read the specs listed on here and on the BD website for yourself, also, it's a user review! Although I will re-state what others have said that this is one extremely bright headlight. As in, my girlfriend got really pissed when I showed her how bright 200 lumens can be inside our living roomduring a sunny afternoon. Second, after reading the instructions for about 5 minutes, it's quite simple and easy to operate with just one hand. I had no problems going from white to red and then to strobe mode. Both the side white LED's and the red LED's will strobe in there brightest setting. One thing I want to clarify is that while it does turn back on to the color you left it in, it WILL change to the opposite white bulb/bulbs you were not previously using. So if you turn it off after using the two side "proximity" LED's, the next time it will turn on to the single super bright "distance" LED. From there it only takes another click to bring it to the other mode. I love the lock out feature that's incorporated into the battery life indicator bulb. It makes it easy see the battery status or if it's locked out. I will say the battery compartment seems well made and the watertight seal looks like quality materials. Moving on, I will say the light housing plastic appears to be a little bit "shoddy". It isn't the most refined case I've ever seen and there were several tiny nicks in the plastic resin housing. I'm hoping that it will stand up to my abuse and so far it has. With that being said, I have not tested the IPX7 waterproof rating yet and I'll just let nature prove that one for me.
Anyway, in regards to the negative aspects I've found on this light, one main detail is that you don't really have the option to remove and clip the battery compartment to a strap or pocket, thus removing the bulk of the weight from your head. I'm betting the next model will have that feature(also a rechargeable pack wink wink). I was hoping I could rig this one to suit my needs but I would have to cut the buckle apart, and I wasn't ready to do that. I knew all this coming in so no stars off for that. Second negative, give us a storage case BD! With all that crap packaging you use you could easily throw it in a soft or hard case and skip all the plastic and paper. I eventually found an old camera case at Goodwill to throw it in, so now it's somewhat protected in my bag.
I digress. Overall this light is super bright and strong. It has comparatively amazing battery life, the straps are very comfortable and it's very lightweight when compared to industrial strength lamps with similar features considering all those batteries resting on your dome. I went with the Icon in the end because I needed the red capability but I recommend checking it out at REI also. Overall I'm very pleased with the Icon but I will update if anything changes. Thanks for reading.
P.S.If you're reading this BD, make the battery compartment detachable and give us a way to recharge it. After all, the batteries/compartment will become the biggest aspect to the owner down the road.
I read a bunch of reviews and features on various h/lamps and came to the conclusion that this would be the one. I stayed away from rechargeable units because It is difficult, and time consuming, to recharge in the field. I also did not want to have to purchase a specialized battery for a spare.
This fit the bill. It is bright, but able to be dimmed in all the modes. I like that feature. It is very comfortable. I was concerned about that due to its weight but that is not a concern. It should fit just about anybody's head or helmet. I will use it in the rain and snow, so "waterproof" was important. I turned it on and ran it under a faucet for 60 secs with not failure. Reviewers have mentioned that the vertical adjustability is lacking. I'm 74" tall, with the light comfortably positioned on my head and the lighting unit cocked all the way forward, the center of the spot is ~6" in front of my size 12's. Plenty of light.
I like it. You should buy it.

I first would like to say I've never owned a Black Diamond headlight before and will not argue model superiority. Initially I was between this model and the Princeton Tec Apex Re-Chargeable. However, first I need to address the other reviewer's statement on here about the light not shining at your feet. Seriously, you must be wearing the light directly on top of your head. I can easily get the light to hit about 3 feet away from me w/o looking down. You clearly are not wearing the lamp correctly or maybe you just want the light to tilt straight down, either waythe light goes where you need it to. Nuff said...I also won't go into lamp details because if you're reading this, you're probably smart enough to also read the specs listed on here and on the BD website for yourself, also, it's a user review! I use headlamps frequently. In Central Oregon, the winter days are short enough that if I want to run, it's in the dark. I tend to push hikes on either end of the day, showing up before dawn, or getting back after dusk. The Icon deserves it's name: it's simply terrific. The batteries last a stunningly long time, and the light output, in several of it's many modes, is outstanding. The rheostat function, which allows me to smoothly increase/decrease the light output to fit the circumstances, might seem like a useless "bells and whistles" add on. It isn't: low level is perfect for me reading my Kindle or book in bed without disturbing my wife, higher levels are great for trail running in the dark hours, medium light level perfect for running on paved paths/roads. Down sides? Only one that I've noticed. The light can be tilted up and down, but Black Diamond erred by not giving a greater range of motion in terms of tilting the light downward. Works just fine for ambulation/skiing/biking, not quite so well when one is stationary and trying to focus on something in one's hands. Hopefully the next iteration will incorporate a fix for this. Meanwhile, this sweet instrument fits in the "Wow!" category.Reviews of Sylvania 78952 20-watt A21 Ultra LED

I've been waiting and watching for a 100 watt equivalent LED for a long time.
I already have several Philips LED 75 watt equivalent bulbs.
Unfortunately the Sylvania A21 buzzes loudly and it dims poorly.
On the plus side, the Sylvania bulb is brighter than the Philips A21.
The buzzing noise is much less noticeable on a non dimming circuit.
Light radiates from the bulb top and bottom which is an important new step in the design of LED bulbs.
Dimming appears to be about 65% of full.
The bulb gives off a very bright, omni-directional light, exactly like one would expect from an incandescent.
The heat given off is about the same as a 100 watt incandescent.
I have read a review that talked about the bulb "buzzing", but I do not have any issue like that. I am not using the bulb on any kind of dimmer switch, just a regular on/off.
The *only* caveat with this bulb is its size: A21 instead of A19. Just be sure that it will fit where you hope to use it.
Once the pricing on these bulbs drop, I'll start to use them everywhere.

As expensive as these bulbs were, you would believe their output would be consistent. I bought two of these. One bulb is fairly bright, the other is yellower and significantly less bright. I inspected that all the individual LED's within the bulb are lighting up, but they are simply all less bright. Not sure why.Honest reviews on Sylvania 78952 20-watt A21 Ultra LED
High price, high lumens, low wattage. It works. Only buy if you're a techno junkie because you won't live long enough for this thing to pay for itself, and they'll be $10 in a couple of years anyway. One quirky thing I like about itwhen you switch the lamp on it dims up. Reminds me of these classy lighting systems that are found in upscale homes with can lights. Also comparable to the undimming of lights at the local cineplex.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sylvania 78952 20-watt A21 Ultra LED
Sylvania makes quality LED bulbs and wanting more lumens I tried this bulb. I am satisfied with it. The only comment would be expect it to have a soft start. I am assuming the design is limiting the in-rush current going to the diodes to provide a long life. I can live with that.Discount Inglow CGT54800CR01 8-Inch Flameless Candle Round Vanilla-Scented

Waited a bit to receive these but they are more than I expected. Have been in touch with their customer service several times and tht is superb. Am considering purchasing more of these. Hghly recommend this seller.
The only thing I don't care for is that cloying vanilla scent (but the unscented ones from Inglow don't have timers), but fortunately the scent fades pretty quickly.
I love that they're made of wax, and a warm creme color. Don't bother with the "outside" ones that are plastic and white. I usually use the vanilla creme ones outside for summer dinner parties and they're fine. Just don't leave them outside all the time, i.e., in hot sun, or rain.

I've tried many brands and these are still the best. The timer is wonderful....come home to flickering candlelight, go to bed to flickering candlelight...The only thing I don't care for is that cloying vanilla scent (but the unscented ones from Inglow don't have timers), but fortunately the scent fades pretty quickly.
