How many different things can a light do? Quite a few! I am attaching a video which shows Lune light doing five different tasks.

✔ The first segment shows Lune light lighting wall art. The top of the light can be rotated and aimed at many different angles. The color changes totally change how the artwork looks. As the color changes it almost looks like the sail boat is moving.

✔ The second segment shows Lune light by itself as a modern shape sculpture. It would fit nicely in a modern style decor.

✔ The third segment positions the lamp to reflect from the wall silhouetting the pottery on top of by book case.

✔ In the fourth segment I put Lune light inside the china cabinet so it can highlight my holiday dishes.

✔ The final segment show this light as ... a burglar deterrent. As I was trying to find a perfect place for the light in my house it occurred to me that the color changes observed from the outside look like TV is on. I have been considering buying a FakeTV FTV-11 Extra Bright Burglar Deterrent which makes the house look occupied when you are away. The Lune light performs the same function but looks a lot prettier. When I am home the light decorates. When I am away it protects! The video shows what the light looks like from the outside. I aimed it at the wall near the window. Note that for burglar deterrent purpose I am using the light on a separately purchased timer so it comes on every evening like a real TV would.

I am also attaching a collage of 6 photos which you can find by following 'customer photos' link under the main photo.

✔ The first photo shows how the Lune light arrived it is very well protected by its packaging.

✔ The second photo shows the light and its power cord. The top section containing the light rotates 50 degrees in one direction and 240 degrees in the other direction. This allows you to select the angle of the light whether you want to light something on the wall, have the light reflect from the wall or the ceiling, etc. The cord is fairly short (56 inches), I really could not reach any of the location I wanted to place the light without using an extension cord. The plug is not polarized. The light is 7.5 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide, 3 1/8 inches thick.

✔ Photos 3 through 5 shows several different colors the light produces and how each shade changes the appearance of the room it is in.

The light has seven preset color options: 5 solid colors (red , yellow, green, teal, blue, purple, white) and 2 changing colors (fast fade 1.5 seconds between colors and slow fade 2.4 seconds between colors). My favorite is the slow fade.

It took a little practice to turn the light off and to change colors reliably every time. I found that capping the base of the light with my open palm works best for me. To turn off the light I hold my palm in place longer, to turn on and change settings hold my palm in place briefly.

I received a sample unit for providing an honest review be it positive or negative. I have no financial interest or business relationship with the manufacturer, and this review represents my independent opinion of the product.

I really like the Lune light not only because it looks good and is a conversation piece but also because it can serve many different functions including making my house look occupied when I am not there.

This light is simply explained as beautiful. It is a round ring the can be adjusted into a different shapes and it has to power to output multiple colors of light. The lamp can be set to light up with one of seven colors from red, yellow, green, teal, blue, purple and white. You can even adjust the brightness of the light from very dim to very bright and you have almost infinite brightness control to set the mood you like for the lighting. The light can also scan the different colors of the light at one of two different rate settings where the color changes every 1.6 seconds or every 2.6 seconds.

The lamp is stylishly made and looks like a modern piece of art. It is available in Alpine White and Sparkling Black. This lamp is so beautiful and easy to use that I made a video of it in operation so you can see how nice it looks. It is ideal as a table lamp, a fireplace mantel lamp, an entry way lamp or put into any room where you would enjoy the effects of its light changing capabilities.

The lamp features a touch control sensor on the inside of the ring on the bottom that allows you to quickly set up the operation the way you want.

* To turn on the lamp just touch the inside bottom curve of the lamp.

* If the lamp is on then tap once to change the colors.

* To dim the color touch the control pad and dim the light brightness to your desired setting and if you go too far then just tap the control area and the color goes to full bright.

* To turn off the lamp continuously touch the control pad until the lamp turns off.

You can shine the light into the inner ring and it is beautiful but you can also rotate the Lune's rotary top. It will rotate 50° in one direction and 240° in the other to allow you to set the shape of the lamp and direct the light in the direction you want. The lamp can be bright in a dark room as the power consumption is 9 watts and it uses Dense Matrix LED technology. It comes with an AC wall power adapter that has a cord that is 58 inches long.

This light is a real conversation piece and it is quite sexy. It is a combination of a mood setting light and a stylish piece of artwork. If you are looking for something beautiful and unique then I recommend that you take a look at this. I rated it at 5 stars.

I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation and I promised only to provide a fair and honest review.

I honestly don't know if I'll be around to check off that this bulb has lasted the number of hours of life it supposedly has. But considering the savings in running it, the little heat it sheds which will significantly decrease the cooling cost in my store (which has tracks containing 44 bulbs), if it lasts half as long, I'll be a happy consumer. The color is flattering to the art work on the gallery walls and it doesn't seem to cast glare as the halogen bulbs do. The construction of the bulb compared to halogen spots has 2 obvious differences: these bulbs are substantially heavier and their broadcast beam is narrower (simply an aspect of their construction as the light comes from center and none leaks from the sides of front edge). I might try a broader beam for my next purchase.

I ordered two of these lights for my T Top. They produce a bright flood pattern, are quite heavy and compact. They also have a very low amp draw, you can run four of these for the draw of one 55w hallogen. Great Light!

I'm a little obsessed with Ottlites, and I have complained for years about the lighting conditions in fabric stores. So I was so excited when the portable Ottlite came out. Its about the size of pagers when they first came out. But its not as heavy (I don't think). I usually keep it in my car. It does exactly what I have wanted for a long time. The lighting in some fabric stores is just ridiculous, How am I supposed to decide what fabric to buy when I can barely see it?! (I'm 27, so it is really not a matter of my eyes not working) So if you ever have a need for sunlight-like lighting on the go, this Ottlite is perfect. And it has LED lights, so it hasn't been a huge battery hog. I haven't replaced my batteries yet, I've had the light a few months, and use it pretty regularly.

To Mr Sam Gummy who just posted, Fulcrum Multi-Flex LED Task Light maybe this one would work better attached to your car visor? (i've tried clipping things to sun visors like sunglass cases and sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not) This ott lite is really designed to be clipped onto a belt.

I just got gifted this one in blue and i had to read the instructions on how to open it.. that back part slides forward a bit and then flips up (i wouldn't have figured that out without the instruction paper).. and yes, you need at least one fingernail (i use my thumbnail) to pull it open, and yes, you have to SNAP it shut.. hear it click (unless you can't hear, so you then really have to look and feel if it is closed (no gaps).

Very bright... yay! i can see i am going to have more than one! I have lots of ott lamps (desk, floorlamp, arc, rechargeable) but to have something this small and portable.. what a joy to be able to illuminate dark places.

For some reason i think that this would have been great a thousand years ago when i was a kid, you know, when you were reading under the covers with a flashlight so your parents thought you're already asleep..though come to think of it, maybe you could still read under the covers if your bed partner is wanting to sleep and yelling at you to turn the lights out, i wonder... hmm some things never change.

oh, one more thing ATTENTION ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO THINK YOU NEED GLASSES? I am telling you! Probably not... i find if i can't read something, i get under an ott lite, and i can read it just fine!!!! so get one!! (or two.. or..).

I love the brightness, but other design flaws make it problematic.

Pros:

Very Bright and small

Cons:

Must use a screwdriver to change batteries

Hinge in battery case easily broken

Uses 3 AAA batteries

Is a battery hog due to its faulty on/off flip closure, which will not turn off the light 100% when you think it is closed draining batteries rapidly. Unit needs an on/off button.

Clip on unit is not big or strong enough for multiple uses

I wanted to use it on my car visor, but the clip is too short. I even put a rubber band around it to keep it "off" when closed, but it still requires 100% attention to make sure its off and really closed.

The size is just not quite right somehow for multiple uses. I never had a "flashlight" I had to think about to turn off. This one has created its own category in that regard. You'll also have to buy 12 packs of batteries to accommodate it as it takes three at a time. AAA's are only sold in 2,4,8 and 12 packs.

Honest reviews on OttLite 490G59 LED Mini Flip Lite in Black

The flip light is really, really bright! I am a Flight Attendant and passengers are always loosing things on night flights. It also enables me to see through the metal grating seat frame to underneath the seat to find things that have dropped through. If you can't see it with this light, you aren't going to find it. It is a tiny bit on the heavy side, but I love that it has a strong spring clip on the back. I had to go down a dark hotel staircase which was very poorly lit with one dim emergency light on each landing...this flashlight clipped onto my pants waist band in the open/on position and illuminated the steps for me.

I have purchased a few of these lights. I have one that I use myself when clothes or fabric shopping to see what the "true" color of the items are (store lighting is often horrible ans not a very good representation of correct color!)

I have also given them as gifts always with great feedback from the recipient. My mother is in her 80's and added a long string at the hinge and places it around her neck when she crochets at night. I have sever OttLites in different styles and am always pleased with the lighting quality.

Okay...first, the "lighthouse" portion of the light isn't red...it's just clear plastic, so it doesn't look anything like the image when it's off.

When it's on, the red LED shines through the clear plastic. Doesn't produce much light at all, though.

Description says that automatic on/off is available in this line of nightlights. It is *not* a feature of this particular one. You plug it in, it's on, and only goes off if you unplug it.

Other than those two issues, it works fine.

This light looks very pretty when on but is of no practical use as a night light. It does not even provide sufficient illumination in a 4x6 foot half bath as they only illuminate for 6-8 inches around. I would have returned them but it was not worth the expense. The best thing yet is a standard night night with a red C-5 Christmas tree bulb.

Best Deals for Leviton 49563-LGT Red LED Decorative Night Light, With Light House

I bought this to find a bathroom light that wouldn't be as disruptive to sleep cycles and melatonin production, in the event of a middle-of-the-night pit stop. As several people have commented this nightlight is quite dim, and I was a little tentative when making my purchase. When it arrived in the mail I took it straight from my sunny living room into our windowless bathroom, plugged it in, shut the door, and turned off the lights to test it. Talk about disappointment I couldn't see a thing! It made a tiny red glow in the corner of the black room. HOWEVER, I failed to take into account the fact that my eyes were still adjusted to the daylight in the room I'd just left. Luckily, on a whim a few nights later, I gave it another shot and plugged it in before heading to bed. When I woke up in the middle of the night and went into the bathroom, it was perfect. I could see the whole room since my eyes were dilated from sleeping. Dimly, albeit, but definitely well enough to do what I'd come for. And I had no trouble falling back asleep when I got back in bed! It is also true that it's clear plastic when it's not lit up, but I personally prefer it that way.

Honest reviews on Leviton 49563-LGT Red LED Decorative Night Light, With Light House

Bought for my toddler's room. The red light is not supposed to interrupt sleep patterns. It did not put off as much light as I'd like however.

The lighthouse part is clear plastic, and the light is red. If that matters...

Buy Temperature controlled Color Changing LED hand showerhead

Temperature controlled Color Changing LED hand showerhead
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
Alright, first thing to remember as you purchase this item is that you are paying $20 for a shower head... when a "good" one at the hardware (wihout lights) will set you back $40-50... there's a reason for this price difference.

Overview:

-It's made of ABS plastic... but it looks fine-in fact, I thought my previous shower head was metal... until I removed it and found out it was also plastic.

-No batteries-it pulls it's power from the water pressure, more on this later

-The lights change with the temperature... you already knew this, I mean, it's in the product title :)

PROS:

-Cost: It's $20, even if you don't like it, it's not like you dropped a $50 bill for it

-Lights: Who doesn't like random gizmos? Anyways, the lights are about as bright as a night light... that is, it's bright enough to take a shower with (with your main lights out) if you want, but it is a dim shower.

-Construction: Yeah, it's coming from China (probably), it's made of plastic, but it seems to be put together pretty decent all things considered

-No batteries: It has a small turbine that generates power for the LED's by using your water pressure

CONS:

-Pressure drop: I used to shower at half pressure because I swear my shower could remove the outer 2 layers of skin. Installing this caused a significant pressure drop. I now shower at "full pressure" and it's fine... but it's one helluva lower pressure than it used to be. If your current pressure doesn't sting at full pressure, I would think twice about buying this!

-Plastic: It looks metal, but it's plastic. Then again, if you want metal, you better be prepared to spend a lot more than $20

-Noise: It doesn't use batteries (because, let's be honest, we'd never change them), but the little turbine does generate a whine. For me, this isn't a big deal as the noise of the shower pretty much drowns it out... I couldn't tell you if it sounds loud from outside the shower. Anyways, if you're OCD about stuff like this, you've been warned.

-Light Color: Really, green, then blue, then red? That order seems a little bit off (considering it is related to the water temp). Anyways, I don't take scalding hot showers, so I end up showering under the blue light for the most part. On the same note, those shower heads that have 7 different colors that change every 20 seconds would probably make me shoot myself as that's got to get oold quick.

-Light birghtness: not really a con for me as I wasn't expecting a spotlight. Just be warned, you can take a shower with the bathroom lights off, but it's like mood lighting (in intensity)... on the same note, if your shower is a little dark to start with, this might help compliment the bathroom lights.

Conclusion? If you have very strong water pressure, go for it.. what's the worst that can happen? :)

This item only includes the actual showerhead, if you want to use it as a hand held shower you will need to buy the mounting bracket (~$6) and a hose (~$10). So even though it seems cheap at $17 after you buy the necessary accessories it is about the same as name brand kits.

The flow is good as is the pressure. The stream is somewhat narrow and not as spread out as many shower heads.

The plastic threads will likely leak a bit. I tightened it as much as I could and used teflon pipe tape but it still drips a bit.

Shower is LOUD! Nearly twice as loud as other showers, this is due to the turbine that powers the LEDS. Its not going to give you a headache or anything it just takes a little getting used to. Makes it difficult to talk to or hear someone outside of the shower.

The LEDs are very very cool. Bright enough to be visible with the lights on, but I recommend using it in total darkness! The LEDs have 6 stages

Green Cold/cool

Blinks Green to blue Warm

Blue Just Right

Blinks Blue to Red Hot

Red Very Hot

(((((E-D-I-T))))) This is made of pretty cheap plastic and will eventually start to leak. I used gobs of Teflon tape and it still leaks, but still works (kinda)

Flickering Red Scalding (not sure if it is supposed to do this or if my

shower just gets too hot for temp sensor to handle)

Overall this is a very neat product for the price. It is all plastic and very light which is nice when holding it but the durability worries me.

Great conversation starter, but some might look at you weird when you say "hey come check out my shower!"

Best Deals for Temperature controlled Color Changing LED hand showerhead

the good things

works in 3 color according to water temp.

saving the water

no batteries needed

the things really annoying :

very noisy!!!

reducing the pressure too much even though I have very high pressure in my pipelines system!!

simply after only of 2 days I removed it & give it to my Kids shower :)

Honest reviews on Temperature controlled Color Changing LED hand showerhead

The first hand shower I received was faulty. Lights will come on and off. They did not change according to water temperature. I contacted customer service. I had to mail it back to them at my expense. The replacement unit I received was even worse. The lights will turn on for couple of seconds and then turn off forever. Do not waste your money buying this product from this seller.

We have these all over our house; and they provide just enough light. Having a baby around we wanted to make sure we didn't trip over any toys at night, and we could safely navigate the house with a sleeping baby. These lights fit the bill perfectly. Being LED they put out no heat, so we don't have to worry about baby touching them. Also, they are a bit slippery, so baby can't figure out how to pull them out of the wall.

this nightlight is not as bright as traditional bulbs, but it gets the job done for my son's bedroom. it uses LED technology so it gives off a fluorescent tint. i had to buy new nightlights since my toddler son destroyed the older traditional ones by ripping off the tops and also the bulbs out (very dangerous!!!!). i dont have that issue with these so i am happy. also it works well from a functionality standpoint of the light sensor.

Best Deals for Energizer ENLPLAU2 Traditional Automatic Nightlight, 2-Pack

These are great nightlights. They give enough light to see by. These are especially great for hallways and bathrooms. There is enough light to navigate in the bathroom so that you really don't have to turn on the bright lights.

They might be a bit too bright for people who don't like light in a room when they try to sleep, but they have never bothered me. My wife is sensitive to light in the room when trying to sleep, so I just put furniture near it to block the "direct" light.

It might be nice to have a switch to turn them on and off, but you basically have to make a choice between auto/on or manual on/off. If you want a manual on/off switch, then check out the manual on/off model Energizer Nightlight ENLPLMN here on Amazon.

These are so energy efficient that even if you left the light on year round 24 hours a day, I doubt it would cost you more than a dollar.

I usually try to buy them direct from Amazon and not a seller for about 11 dollars for a two pack.

I know everyone raves about the Ott Lite L139AB Task Lamp. After doing some research, I realized this lamp and the L139AB uses the same technology and decided on this one based on the price. I am happy with the lamp because it's very efficient in space and energy consumption, and the black body doesn't look too offensive on my black desk.

However, despite it being a task lamp, it's not bright enough to read/study with, and I usually have to turn on other lights to supplement this Ott Lite. I don't wish for it to be brighter, because I know then it wouldn't be as comforting to my eyes, but I wish the lamp was bigger, providing light source to a greater surface area.

Overall am happy with this lamp considering the price but be prepared to turn on other lamps/lights at night for reading and/or other tasks.

I bought this light for my wife to use at her small desk. It is perfect for that use. It is very bright and makes reading much easier. The quality of light is excellent.

The only odd thing is that the on/off switch is built into the body of the lamp. When its open, its on. Close it and it goes off. While I personally like the design, I know that it can be confusing for others.

Ordered this four pack to use as license plate bulbs, and was pretty disappointed. The packaging is all in chinese, which isn't a big deal because they aren't hard to install. Ledwholesalers 30 Watt LED Power Suppply Driver Transformer 120 to 12 Volt DC Output, 3207
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
I bought this power supply (It's not a "transformer" even though it certainly contains one) for use in some 6500K LED light "rope" under my kitchen cabinets. After getting the LED rope installed under the cabinets, I connected my lab power supply to it and found that it draws about 1.9 amps of current (=22.8W), which is well within the 2.5 amp/30 watt rating of the supply.

First off, why this supply uses a very thick wire for the 120V side is beyond me. It is very large in diameter, about 0.275", and very stiff. The wire gauge is needlessly large. 30 watts of reflected power at the primary is only around 0.4 amps of AC current, which is very small. Therefore, the first thing I did was cut off this cord close to the input of the power supply and splice in the male lead of a 16 gauge extension cord, which is much thinner and more flexible than this ugly black cord. I did not connect the green safety lead because as far as I could tell, it connected to nothing, including the aluminum chassis. I poked through the case's non-conductive anodization with my meter probe and tested for a connection to this green line. Nothing. Nada. So I left the green lead floating. (For those of you who are safety-crazy: look at all of Apple's power supplies. 2 leads.)

Next, the output. Here again we have a needlessly thick, yet short length of wire. For an electronics guy like me, it's no bother. But what's a guy who doesn't know how to solder supposed to do with it? There is certainly an assumption on this power supply that you, the purchaser know how to solder. I clipped this cord close to the chassis and then spliced in an 18 gauge lamp cord, taking note of which lead is positive (red) and which side is negative (black). At the other end of this lamp cord I soldered a pair of color-coded female banana plug receptacles, red and black. I then made another 18 gauge wire with male banana plugs at one end and soldered the other end to my LED rope leads. In this fashion, I can disconnect the power supply from the rope if needed.

(By the way, when I make my splices, I cover the connections with heat shrink tubing. Great stuff if you've ever used it!)

When power is applied to the power supply, it takes a little over one second before the LEDs turn on. I know this bothers some people, but switching power supplies like this take a while to power up. If this delay bothers you, don't buy it. I have no problem with the delay.

Measuring the voltage at the connection point of my LED rope (which will be slightly lower than the power supply's output leads due to the various resistances between the supply output and my LED rope), I measured 11.939V, pretty much dead-on.

I left the lights on for about an hour and then used my infrared thermometer to measure the supply's case temperature. I read about 102F (39C), and a nearby wooden surface measured 72F. Thus we have a temperature rise of about 40F (22C), which isn't bad. Bear in mind this is while delivering about 23 watts. If you draw more power, it will get hotter; less power and it runs cooler. I don't find 102F to be objectionably hot, although you may.

I'm content with this power supply. It does what a power supply is supposed to do: supply a well-regulated voltage of 12V and in a small package. On the other hand, the connectors at each end are horrid. If you are not an electronics person like I am, you will have to live with the stiff black power cord. You will also be forced to do SOMETHING with the 12V output leads. Good luck.

And yes, I recognize that once I cut the unit's wires, there was no hope for a return. If it goes bad, I will simply have to toss it and get another.

Good electrical performance, lousy mechanical interface. Three stars.

Nice little power supply. The output measures at 12.07 with no load. But for my use it can make a high pitch humming/buzzing noise if the output is limited below 12 volts. I use this with a 12v dimmer (item #B003L4KKF2) to power some LED ribbons, and when I turn the knob to anything but off or full on the supply makes that noise. I'm not sure if it's the dimmer or the supply's fault. The dimmer is PWM (pulse-width modulation), so it switches the voltage on and off at a high frequency, which is probably why the power supply buzzes when the voltage is limited. I'm not sure if this will be annoying in the long run as this supply will be powering some LED strips that will most likely be dimmed. Maybe I'll just have to find a new 12v dimmer (item #B004AGZSQG) that doesn't appear to be PWM.

UPDATE: I have found and fixed the cause of the humming/buzzing. It was the dimmer's fault. By putting 2 16v 1000uf capacitors across the input of the dimmer, I was able to reduce the buzzing by 99%. I'm sure the correct value of capacitor will fix it 100%.

I ordered this March 22 and received it March 24. Great service there! However, it was as dead as a doornail. I applied to Amazon to get it replaced and guess what Amazon will only refund on outside vendors merchandise. So, I have to ship this within 24 hours to get my refund and wait another few days to get one that (might) work.

If/When I get one that works to power my LEDs, I'll edit the review and change my Rating.

Until then, I give it just one star for the rapid shipment to me.

I thought I had edited this a couple of days ago and came back and it's not here. HUMPH. I'll try again!

Received the second power supply and this one had 12V as strong as should be. VERY pleased with the quick shipping and now that I have a working power supply, I'm good to go!

Cons: Short 12V leads. TOO short. I made do, but it's a tad frustrating.

I don't know what country these are made in, but instead of the INDUSTRY STANDARD Black/White/Green on the 120V side,

the cable is made up of Tan/Blue/Yellow Wire? Who does that? Had to use a meter to verify the conductors.

Pros: SOLID construction on the main body of the device. Seems built like a tank!

Overall, after all is said and done, I'd buy again. If fact, I know I will. My next project is cabinet lighting.

UPDATED REVIEW 11 March 2012... 1 star

well, I no longer like this power supply. For the past couple weeks its been flashing on and off randomly. It only does it after being on for an hour or so... it will shut off for a second and then come back on. Sometimes it will just flash rapidly for 10-30 seconds. I've checked my wires and everything seems OK with the wires. It must be the transformer.

This thing lasted long enough that it can't be exchanged... but it failed so soon it only gets one star now.

Now its time to look for a better power supply. Maybe its time to hack a laptop power supply and use that? Time will tell what I figure out.

Be advised before you buy, it might just fail after 2 months of use.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 4 STARS

I installed this with LED undercabinet lighting.Flexible Light Strip 300 SMD Bright White LED Ribbon 5 Meter or 16 Feet By Ledwholesalers, 2026wh

I wired it with a switch on the wall, leading to an outlet inside one of my cabinets. I then mounted this power supply in the cabinet and ran the low voltage wire up into the ceiling and around to all the cabinets. I used some washers to space this out away from the cabinet wall about a quarter inch. I'm not sure how warm this gets when it is on... but I figure having some air space would help keep it cool.

Install was easy enough (I did it before the counters went in). I soldered the wires to the output wire of the power supply. Now that I've thought about it more... I should have used some quick-connect wire fittings to connect the power supply to the low voltage wires. If this thing ever dies it will be a royal pain to change it out (now that the counters are installed).

So if you install one of these, I would highly recommend getting some wire fittings to make the connection.

(hopefully this never fails so I don't have to change mine!)

PROS

it works. I've used it for almost a month with no signs of issues.

CONS

there is about a 1 second delay when you turn it on. This is somewhat annoying and it is the reason I downgraded it to 4 stars.

The delay happened from the very beginning I first turned it on when I had just 1 cupboard wired with lights (so about 3 feet of LED strips probably) and it had the delay then. Now I have about 1.5 rolls of the LED strips installed and there is still a delay. So it doesn't seem to be related to the load on the power supply.

I have pictures of my LED lights on that page. You can look at them there. I didn't take any pictures of the power supply... not much to see...

I have purchased about 6 of these. I did my own led lights in my kitchen which are awesome! In turn, I progressed to helping friends and family put some in as well. Somehow, I became the soldering queen. (Thank you, YouTube, I'd never soldered before and Amazon provided the tools for me!) The power supply is supposed to only be used with 1 roll or 16ft of leds. I wanted more lights and less power supplies, which is less money to spend, right? I proceeded to hook up an addtional 8-10 feet to the existing 16ft and left the lights on for awhile. Well, the power supply worked fine but just got too hot. Starting a fire on top my cabinets wasn't in the plan or budget so I unhooked the extra lights and used another power supply. In short, use the recommended length of leds and this power supply works fine.
