I have a vintage 60s pendant lamp that uses six of these 5 inch diameter bulbs. They have become much more difficult to find in brick and mortor stores, and when I do find them, they are pricey.

I have previous experience with this particular bulb -they are high quality bulb and last a good long time for a filament light. At slightly over $5 per bulb when you add the shipping, this is the best price I've ever seen. I will be continuing to purchase them on Amazon instead of wasting gas trying to find them in the store.

These bulbs are difficult to find and considerably more expensive in the stores. This is the best way to buy them.

We have a light in the kitchen that uses this type of bulb and we use this light probably more than any other light in our house. They last a long time and give off a nice soft light. They look good too.

I ordered this item through amazon. It is listed as a 6 pack of bulbs. I received one bulb. Contacted CS, they refunded me and ordered again, to be shipped when the item was back in stock (props to Amazon CS they handled everything beautifully on their end). I received my order yesterday from amazon and got, you guessed it, one bulb. That brings me up to 2 bulbs from my original 6 bulb order.

While this item was out of stock on amazon, I did order from a third party seller (ProMax) and received believe it or not 6 bulbs.

This ceiling light is alot prettier than the picture shows. The leaf design is green, not gold, and there are clear-glass cabochons in the leaves. The mosaic tiles are pastel-colored iridescent; pale lavender, sea green and pale blue tinted. It sparkles even when the light is not turned on. At night, the mosaic tiles look more white when lit. 32.8 Ft 150 SMD RGB Color Changing Kit with LED Flexible Strip Reviews

These LED's are nice, however please be aware that they are not necessarily ready to go right out of the package. The plug at one end of the lights needs to be snipped off and the wires need to be stripped back and inserted into the LED controller set screws. I read the instructions several times and then came to the conclusion they are wrong. The set screws on the LED controller don't match the instructions. HOWEVER, if you have even the slightest bit of mechanical aptitude you will be able to install these lights. Cutting and stripping wires is fairly easy. Looking at the controller it's obvious that the blue wire goes in the "B" slot, the red wire in the "R" slot, etc.

The lights didn't work out quite as I anticipated. They weren't as bright as I thought they would be. I was planning to install them around a large, commercial, circular desk....unfortunately there was too much natural light for these lights to be noticed. I moved them to another area and think they look great! One more caveat, don't fold the LED tape at a sharp angle. If you do you will cause an electrical short in the strip. They can be bent around corners, but don't fold them like a piece of paper; they are rather fragile.

Once you know this you can work around these limitations and have a nice looking project! I added a picture of my install to the image gallery.

I am not an electrician, but I purchased the lights changing kit along with extra lights and connectors to light a wooden spiral staircase. Once you figure out how they work (which you have to get off the internet, as no great instructions are included) they are quite simple to put together. In hindsight, I would go with the white lights instead of the color-changing ones. When I got to the top of the staircase, the connectors were very tricky to get in the right position to allow all the colors to work I don't have red on the top two steps. This could be from the long run I made, although the instructions say you can put three rolls of lights with one plug. I cut strips and connected the strips to wire at each end so perhaps the run I ended up with was too long. The lights are super cool though and kids will really enjoy them (good for play if they prove to be durable). My installation was for a vacation rental home so I am planning to put the remote control away in a cabinet after setting the color I like.

I must say, WOW!!!! These work great. The 1 thing I had to figure out was how to splice the lights together for longer runs. But a good soldering gun and steady hand works great. Would recommend again and plan on using more in near future.

I bought these to use on a customers cedar staircase. Amazon had the best price and these were the best quality for the money. I was really surprised at how nice they actually were. The metal was thicker than I expected, which was nice. The only downside is that the cedar at the bottom was a bit dry and fragile. The directions definitley are correct when the tell you to glue these on. I tried to finish nail them and one went right in and the second split the wood. Great product for the money though and the cedar took stain nicely.

The Solor Metal Black Post Cap is a fine product. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the workmanship and material. The product works perfectly and the LED lights give off a very appealing moonlight color. I also appreciated that each cap has an on/off slider switch. If I had any concerns it would be that the on/off slider switch on one of the three lights purchased is a little harder to move than the other two.

This cap works fine, the cedar base can be stained to match your existing porch/deck/fence post. I'm actually surprised at how long the light stays on after it gets dark even after an overcast day without much sunlight. The main reason why this is a 3-star "OK" review is because of the bulb. It's very, very bright with a blue tint and contrasts terribly with my surrounding landscape lights. LED bulbs these days are getting better and they do have warmer color tones. I'm going to have to try and find a replacement bulb to really be satisfied with this product longer term. Please leave a comment if you know of a good replacement bulb.

They have a switch that allows them to stay on hands-free.

They are really cheap (about $0.60 each).

Cons:

Two slightly different shades of green.

Several needed battery changed (but I found the batteries cheaply on amazon as well).

A few wouldn't stay on using the hands-free switch.

Overall worth it just buy extras. I bought these to hang from my jacket as a burning man costume.

I've tried many brands and these are still the best. The timer is wonderful....come home to flickering candlelight, go to bed to flickering candlelight...

The only thing I don't care for is that cloying vanilla scent (but the unscented ones from Inglow don't have timers), but fortunately the scent fades pretty quickly.

I love that they're made of wax, and a warm creme color. Don't bother with the "outside" ones that are plastic and white. I usually use the vanilla creme ones outside for summer dinner parties and they're fine. Just don't leave them outside all the time, i.e., in hot sun, or rain.

I first got a $50 clip-on and had trouble clamping it onto a podium.

Then got this one world's best podium / worklight / booklight!

So bright, don't look into it from too close. On 3 worn-out NIHM AAA batteries, it was fully bright for 4 hours then took 10 hours to dim below a usable brightness. On fresh alkalines, I'll bet 6 hours plus full brightness.

So it was the speaker's podium light on national television (C-SPAN).
