This is an amazing flashlight! I wish I could afford to buy one for all the guys in the family. This light is very light and compact it could easily fit in a jacket pocket. But what's really impressive is the power! The beam it puts out is amazing! I shined it across a 40-acre field and could easily see a small animal on the other side. The beam breadth option is great you can modify the width of the beam effectively lighting up your entire back yard. Another impressive feature is how long the charge lasts. I'm just very impressed with this product.

Good solid light. Take in note, this is made in china, so if thats not your thing, go buy a surefire.
Light is solid and well made. Additional tape switch that can be purchased seperately is decent as well. The throw on this isn't quite as direct as with a Surefure Fury, but is still decent. Peripheral area is lit quite a bit more than the Surefire, which can be a good thing. Doesnt reach quite as far imo as the Fury however. Take in mind while it may not shine quite as far as its 500lumen competitor, the peripheral coverage quickly evens things out. IMO this doesnt replace a surefire light, but can be a cheaper alternative similar to say a Streamlight Protac. imo the tape switch and clicky taillight, as well as the 2 button tape switch and tail cap are a major plus. Will buy again.
The construction is excellent!

Not sure why this would ever be the case, but the box product that was sent to me didn't include an AC adapter or transformer in order for this to be plugged in and work. I'm trying to find the right transformer/adapter so that I can take the little circular nub on the end of the lights and make it connect to something that actually plugs into a wall, but to no avail. I've asked radio shack, best buy, and showed my friend who is an electrician a picture of the cord... he said I may be out of luck and that he could splice the wire but that the proper transformer is hard to come by.
For a product that costs $60, it should work. If it doesn't come with an actual plug, the seller should say that upfront instead of sticking the consumer with a thinner wallet and a useless product. Too bad.
Thanks for remembering to ship when it was available again.
Negative: Overpriced, saw in local stores for $20 less (wish I had known!)

These are 'warm white' LED bulbs and are true to being very close to the colour of incandescent bulbs -however I was a little disappointed that they aren't that good in a light fixture as they only provide direction lighting up or down -not much to the sides and none below.
They were packed very well and shipped very quickly!

I'm kind of a flashlight fiend. This light is really strong, AA battery lasts long (well over an hour) in it and at this price, I can have them all over the place and hand them to other people to carry without worrying so much about if I ever get it back. I live near the water and we have power outages pretty frequently. I also find myself doing odd tasks around the house after dark before going to bed as I forget to get them done in daylight. I keep one of these small lights in my travel bag for digging out small things that get lost in the bottom. I keep one in each glove compartment of the family cars for when something falls out in the dark and we need some quick light or to find our way through an unlighted parking area. Countless times over the years, I have been rewarded for always having a light handy and in all these years, I have never had a light as handy as this one, and at this price, I can always have one nearby.

Bought this fan for my kid's room. In regards to installation, I thought the instructions were clear. One thing to keep in mind is that when you install the housing, there will be a gap of about a 1/4" away from the ceiling. There is no avoiding it, even if you leave out the rubber isolators. The overall look (except for the small gap) is exactly what I was looking for. I am glad that I went with the white: it's got that understated, clean look. The glass and all the hardware was nicely packed, and it came with three bulbs. One nice feature is that you can hold the pull chain for the light and it will start slowly dimming, and when you let go, it will stay at that light setting.
Then the lighting portion of the unit went out about one month ago. I contacted Amazon to see if, to keep things simple I could get a replacement light portion. Sadly, when I heard back from them (within a matter of hours), Amazon wasn't able to handle portions for replacement however they did give me contact information for Hunter Fans. So I contacted them... twice. Not even a whisper or peep from them. I expected more from Hunter. So, good to their word, Amazon is taking care of the situation. Yes, the whole fan has to come down and get returned to them. Which makes this a bit more complicated, since I live several hours from my mother. I have nothing but positive things to say about how Amazon is handling the situation for me and mom. But due to Hunter's complete non-responsiveness (even if it was to say "Sorry we can't help you.") I'm seriously looking at alternative manufacturers as a replacement.
The fan portion? Mom likes, even though I would like to see a bit more air movement, an inherent issue with ceiling-hugging fans. But in all likelihood I'll be replacing this ceiling fan with another manufacturer's. If Hunter can't send an e-mail in my direction, why should I send my hard earned dollars in their direction?
Two words of "wisdom" for Hunter Fans... CUSTOMER SERVICE
FOLLOW-UP: After I purchased a replacement fan from another manufacturer, I DID hear from Hunter. They immediately shipped the replacement portion I needed. Sadly it was too little, too late. I informed them not to ship, but their system couldn't stop it. So when the part arrived, I returned it to them. Why it took so long to hear from them remains a mystery to me. They need to be more prompt in solving issues. I did want to let you know they eventually did respond, but it certainly wasn't "timely". The best of my recollection, it took approximately 6-8 weeks to hear back from them.

I bought this fan to replace another nearly identical Hunter (Model 21371). A capacitor went out on the 21371 in the main family room so I figured I would get a new, hopefully more powerful, fan to replace it and put the old one in a different room when the parts came in. The old one was less than a year old so Hunter is sending the replacement capacitor for free. One thing folks should be aware of is both of these models look and perform nearly the same but they do not have a very high output. On the highest setting these fans still do not push a whole lot of air. The new fan (23909) has a slightly bigger housing so you can't use the same mounting bracket. I installed with no trouble but when finished discovered that the light switch pull chain does not work. I took it apart and tried to fix it then put it back together but it still doesn't work. Another quick call to Hunter (1-888-830-1326) and a new light kit is on the way for the 23909. I was really hoping the new fan would push more air. I have always been a big fan of Hunter but am starting to worry about their quality control now.Best LED Pro Track® Brushed steel 3-Light Ceiling Fixture Deals

Instant-on, very pleasing warm light. Make sure you don't toss out the separate glass globes with the box! This is the only Pro-track circular fixture (I now own several of them) that is fairly close to the ceiling, the others have a spiral that winds down quite a distance from the ceiling while all three of these lights hang the same short distance from the ceiling.
Cannot be dimmed, though; and I cannot understand why they decided (unlike most other ProTrack fixtures) to have a base that is triangular instead of circular, so it may or may not be symmetrical with both your room and the lamps themselves (although you can rotate the base over about 30 degrees to help line it up in most situations, including mine). Beautiful finish, although darker than its sister fixtures (I think this is a brushed stainless while the others are brushed niclke).
A bit more expensive than their other similar fixtures, but it includes the LEDs (the cheaper ProTracks include halogens, so by the time you replace the bulbs with LEDs you're looking at about the same price either way), and like the other ProTrack fixtures, very well made.

Over the past several decades, flashlight technology has undergone several revisions, from incandescent to xenon to LED and now to these high intensity leds. This torch replaces one of my 2AA xenon Maglites.
Although there are high-intensity LED products using one and two batteries, I concluded that those products are a compromise of the technology and they have a short run time.
This 3-AA design delivers the top LED technology without the weight and bulk that comes with C and D cells. Three cells provides a buffer of workable voltage.
Of course this 3AA product is longer than a 2AA, no longer fitting into a pants pocket, but it had good balance and I didn't find the additional length objectionable.
The click switch was a bit of a mystery, and perhaps someday I might even read the manual. The first click gives the single high intensity LED. The light is white and bright. I found it to be actually too bright and concentrated for my walks between camping tent and bathroom. Yes, I can see quite well where I'm putting my feet but the bright spot on the ground blinds me to whats happening outside the cone. The second click gives the three low intensity LEDs and these have a definite blue/purple hue and were a little too dim for those bathroom walks. The third click seemed redundant to the first and that's the mystery. Fourth click is off.
I do look forward to using it for automotive inspection and maintenance in daylight conditions, but for camping walks I will look for a design with more of a flood pattern.
The Streamlight company website provides very good documentation for their products.

Good replacement for my current bulb which burnt out. I ordered through a third-party seller and paid the shipping because these are only a few dollars, but with any of the Prime offers the shipping is built into each and every bulb. So buy in bulk from one of the trusted sellers and save your money while still shopping from the comfort of your own home. Also make sure you get the correct color, their is a Warm White and a Cool White, we prefer the Cool White but see what you currently have.
So far I'm pleased with the lamps tubes tho.

This LED bulb (Energetic Lighting ELE12D-AWF-VB LED 12-Watt A19 Dimmable Lamp) is shaped like a tulip. It consists of three 'petals', each with a large LED array pointing to the side. On top of the bulb there is a triangular opening for heat ventilation. This design gives an uniform lighting around the bulb, but it leaves a darker area directly in front of the bulb. That means this bulb is less suitable for down-facing recessed lighting fixtures.
I measured the Energetic bulb using my P4460 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor. The power consumption is 12W just as rated. The power factor is very high at PF=0.97 (Power factor has no direct relation with light output, but a low PF is typically associated with cheaply made electronics). The bulb comes on instantly, and it does not overheat after prolonged operation.
Next, I compared this Energetic bulb with another dimmable LED bulb I own, the Feit Electric 13.5 Watt LED Omni Bulb. Here is what I observed:
At full power, both the Energetic and Feit bulbs appear to be similar in brightness. This is to be expected since the Energetic is rated for 800 lumens while the Feit is 850 lumens. Both bulbs are correctly advertised as "60W replacement" for incandescent bulb.
The color temperature of Energetic bulb is warmer compared to that of Feit bulb. This is because the Energetic is rated at 2700K which is close to an incandescent bulb, while the Feit is slightly cooler at 3000K.
When dimmed down, the Energetic bulb emits a faint buzzing noise, while the Feit remains silent
The Energetic bulb turns off completely when my dimmer switch goes below 50%. The Feit bulb continues to dim down smoothly until the minimum power.
(See the photos I uploaded to the 'Customer Images' section for side-by-side comparison)
Summary:
The Energetic LED bulb appears to be a well-designed and well-built product. It is best used for non-dimmed, general-area illumination (such as a floor lamp). But for me, it is hard to justify paying higher premium for a 'dimmable' bulb that does not work well when dimmed. So I can only recommend it _if_ you can get it for significantly less than the current Amazon price (hint: check your local utility company for special offers).
I replaced all my often used CFL's with it (I did not use incandescent bulbs since 11 years ago...).
What I really like about this:
Runs cool (much cooler than CFL)
Much brighter than comparable wattage of CFL (12W seems brighter than my older 18W, 15W, and recent 13W CFL).
Nice light distribution
And probably the most important: no warm-up time. In the winter CFLs are quite dim for about 5 minutes. LED is bright immediately.
Reliability! LED should last much longer (well, we'll see). I have gobbled up 10's of CFL's over the years. CFL is a lot less reliable than manufacturers like to believe you. I had 8 CFLs I purchased from Costco burn out within a year -I think I used about 8-10 per year on average -especially the globes (used for vanity mirrors) and reflectors burn out really fast. I think because these are enclosed in glass, overheating the electronics.
Dimable!!! That's really a very nice upgrade from CFL!
What I don't like:
Too pricey to purchase (we're so lucky PSE had this program!)
Fun fact :-)
I replaced a still working 14 year old Philips CFL with LED -this veteran bulb with its strange greenish hue held up for so long...!
Unfortunately all 4 of these bulbs buzz quite noticeably when dimmed in my application. The buzzing actually comes from the bulbs, not the dimmer. It's annoying but not quite enough to switch back to the halogens at this point.
Pros:
Instant light with no warm up.
Good color when fully illuminated.
Dims down to 10% of full brightness.
Cons:
Noticeable buzzing when dimmed.
Not so nice greenish color when dimmed below 30% or so.
The Energetic 12 watt LED lamp has a standard A19 type screw shell, and will fit into most screw shell type lampholders. The lamp is dimmable, and produces a maximum of 800 lumens, which is roughly equivalent to the amount of light produced by a 60 watt incandescent lamp. Light actually has a measurable color, and this LED lamp is rated at 2700 degrees Kelvin, which falls into what is commonly classified as "warm white".
The lamp has an unusual appearance, because although it generally has rounded sides, it has a hollow core. This means that the minimum amount of light, will be directed from the top of the lamp. This could be an issue for some downlight applications, or some may not like the lamp's appearance. LED's intrinsically produce a lot of heat, directed to the rear of the LED unit. Adequate heat dissipation must be provided, to maximize usable life. Failure to adequately dissipate heat, usually results in an LED failing.
This Energetic lamp is Energy Star approved, and lists the life of the lamp as 25,000 hours, which works out to 1041.7 days, or 2.85 years. The light output of an LED source degrades over time. Standards for the rated life of LED's are still being developed, but generally a rated life of 25,000 hours means that at after 25,000 hours, on average, the lamp will be producing at least 70% of its initial output. This lamp has three panels of LED's, so supposedly after 2.85 years, instead of producing 800 lumens, you should be getting at least 560 lumens. Occasionally LED's will fail completely, and not produce any light, but this is not as common as with an incandescent source.
Energy is measured in watts. This lamp uses 12 watts, and typically can be used to replace a 60 watt incandescent, or 30 watt compact fluorescent lamp. So there is an immediate savings in energy consumed. As the rated life of this lamp is 2.85 years, it probably makes the most sense for someone to consider paying $27 now, only if they anticipate very heavy usage of the lamp over the next few years. Why? Because two years from now, LED lamps will most likely be much less expensive. So it makes the most sense to replace a heavily used lamp in your living room, rather than a lamp in a closet that you rarely use. If you a little less output, Energetic also manufactures a 7.5 watt version of this lamp that produces 450 lumens.
A local hardware store had these lamps on sale as a manager's special for $10, which was an absolute steal. Otherwise, I would not have bought them, as the economics did not make sense for me at $27 per lamp. I replaced the compact fluorescent lamps in some light fixtures in the living room and bedroom with these lamps, and have been very pleased with the results. The output of the LED's appears just as bright or brighter, and my energy consumption has been reduced by perhaps 60%. Within a year the light output will degrade, but I have already saved quite a bit, and down the road there will probably be more efficient and less expensive LED lamps available.
Those considering a purchase, need to do the math and determine whether the estimated cost savings makes sense, as $27 is quite a lot to pay for a lamp. If it takes 3 years for the cost savings in electrical consumption to pay for the cost of the LED lamp, you will be just about breaking even.
Puget Sound Energy had these as a part of an bulb exchange program -I got a handful of these through this program.I replaced all my often used CFL's with it (I did not use incandescent bulbs since 11 years ago...).

I've bought a couple other brands of LED bulbs before and I have always been a bit disappointed because they always seem to shine much brighter in some direction than other. In other words they did not deliver equal lighting. These bulbs on the other hand have done just that. I did notice that these bulbs use about 1-2 watts more power, but the equal lighting is well worth the trade off.Honest reviews on Energetic Lighting ELE12D-AWF-VB LED 12-Watt A19 Dimmable Lamp
I too received several of these bulbs as part of Puget Sound Energy's bulb exchange program and replaced 60 watt halogens in a bedroom connected to a dimmer.Unfortunately all 4 of these bulbs buzz quite noticeably when dimmed in my application.

The writing has been on the wall for some time. LED's have taken over the flashlight industry, and the technology is quickly making inroads into the general lighting industry. As we are in the early stages of the introduction of the technology, the costs for LED lamps are presently much higher than they will be in the future. Like the compact fluorescent lamp, prices for LED lamps will come down in time, but whether paying $27 for a LED lamp now makes sense, probably depends on how much you intend to use the lamp. Lighting has its own terminology, which can be confusing, however hopefully most of what follows will be understandable.

I've been searching for a sewing light that's bright, adjustable, won't obstruct my view, doesn't take up a lot of room or get super hot. I've tried many different lights, nothing really comes close to this one. Pros: 1) Flexible you can adjust the arm so it can "bend" over and go up and down, 2) No Obstructions does not obstruct my view, I can see the needle and stitch plate clearly without obstruction or shadows, 3) Takes up very little room you just clamp the lamp to the right of your sewing table, hardly takes up any room, 4) Stays cool not hot to the touch. Cons: 1) Fairly bright, but could be brighter, 2) Overpriced I think $50-$60 would be a fair price.

I really like the Slimine Table Light it is just what I needed for sewing. I have bought many other lights, but this one is the best. I put it to the right of my machine, and it never gets in mt way. I love the way you can push it up and out of the way when you put a new spool on, or rewind a bobbin. The clamp seems very secure. Happy after 2 years I found the one that works for me. Bye Bye old lights.Best Deals for Daylight Slimline Table Lamp
I loved this lamp while it worked!! Which was 2 days from the time I installed it. It shorted out so I called Amazon and ordered another one hoping it was just a fluke. Turns out it wasn't. The second lamp NEVER worked from the second I plugged it in. Another nail tech in my salon saw I bought this lamp and said one she had bought lasted about 9 months and died. Very disappointed as it fit the purpose of being a nail tech lamp so well.Honest reviews on Daylight Slimline Table Lamp

I loved the light. But since it didn't work long after I bought it I had to give it 3 stars. Way too expensive to only have lasted 5 months. I doubt I can return it also. Signed AnnoyedCheap Sea Gull Lighting 66474-782 3 Light Century Island Light Fixture

We purchased this fixture for above our kitchen table and it looks great!
We had a few minor complaints:
1. The installation instructions had 2 pages: one was in Englilsh and the other was in French. Unfortunately both pages were needed. Fortuntately we bought another (different) fixture for our entry way and IT had full instructions. If you are somewhat electrically inclined the missing page will not be an issue for you.
2. Our ceiling is sloped (cathedral style) and the fixture did not have enough pivot in the drop assembly to accommodate the slope. We had to get a little creative in the way we attached the mounting plate to make it hang straight.
3. If you have a shallow junction box (which we do) you will have to go to a "home improvement store" and buy a shorter nipple to mount the fixture or the decorative cover plate won't fully cover the installation parts.
All in all, for the price we paid, we are pretty darn satisfied. Looks Great, provides lots of light, and came with plenty of wire/tubing to accommodate a tall ceiling or it can be adjusted for a lower ceiling.

Handy to hold with twist-turn on-off. The lumens are just right for pitch dark or lighting up dark corners when looking for something. Could be improved by adding a place to attach the USB cover when charging.
