These lights are great. Installed them myself and I am an 60 year old women. They are perfect for where I needed them. Works great.i bought it at big lots for about $8 and am very happy with the purchase. works great in the small, dark hall closet!

We just installed the Monorail over our Kitchen Counter. We were very happy with the products until about a half hour one of the Bulb Shield exploded all over our counter and food.We guess that the company has no interest to correct the problem or would comment on the review.

I do quite a lot of embroidery and my old lamp just died. So I replaced it with the Ultra-90 LED. The LED are very nice and give perfect light over my projects while they are sewing out. The only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is that the lamp came with no clamp. No problem for me because I have the clamp from my old lamp. But I emailed the business and they responded very quickly. My favorite feature of this lamp is that it doesn't generate heat. I have had many magnifier lamps before and when you are doing small detail work you start to feel like you are working in an oven. Beyond that, the lamp is easy to adjust, the adjustment clamps hold well, the magnifier lens is effective, and the clamp attaching it to the desk is built well enough for the lamps weight.
Buy Rigel Systems Skylite Switchable 2-Red / 2-White LED Flashlight
Both the red and white light can be adjusted from dim to bright -very useful. When you are dark adapted, the red light set to bright is plenty bright enough to see your way while walking around. The white light seems very bright when you're dark adapted -too bright on the highest setting. And, since they are LEDs, they don't eat batteries.
Pros:
1) Reasonably light weight.
2) Simple controls--turn clockwise for red, counterclockwise for "white" (more on this later).
3) Good light output at most levels.
Cons:
1) The case seems fragile and I doubt it would survive a drop onto a hard surface. It could also be a lot shorter than it is given that it's powered by a 9 volt battery.
2) Lanyard attachment (screwed in) argues for the lanyard coming out when you least expect it. The attachment should be molded into the case or added on like the PAL lights have it.
3) The red LEDs give very low to high output. The "white" LEDs start much brighter than the red and get far brighter from there. I don't know how anyone could retain any night vision using the white LEDs at any setting.
4) The "white" LEDs are oddly tinted. They start greenish at "low," change to white at medium, then get blue at maximum. If you need color discrimination, this is not the light for you unless you're at medium.
The only problem I've had so far is that the lanyard is attached to a fairly small screw in the back, held in place by a little o-ring. The o-ring looks like it could break or fall off if you pulled too hard, although that hasn't happened yet. What did happen, is that the screw must have been loose, or my wearing it loosened the screw, and it fell off my neck and opened up the case, since the screw holds it all together. I screwed it back tightly down and it hasn't come unscrewed again, although I occasionally think to check its tightness. I think this light needs an integrated lanyard eye molded into the plastic case to be at its sturdiest.
If they could strengthen the lanyard holder, I would rate it a 5-star product. If they could then figure out how to make it easy to go from head strap for chart reading to neck strap for unobtrusiveness, I would give it a 6-star review. I know, that doesn't exist. But I currently know of only one other headlamp that has a dimmable red and white light, the Photon Fusion, which is nice but a little clunky on the head and not usable around the neck, and its easy to accidentally turn on the bright white light. Most other dual white/red headlamps fail to add a dimmer to the red light. This light therefore fills an important niche, and it's great on it's own. And it could be even better and fill an even bigger niche with one or two modifications.

I've been using this at public star parties this summer and it's been a great, reliable light so far. I like how it feels sturdy, the dimmer is large, sturdy, and has a large dynamic range from very dim to very bright. I debated between this and a headlamp, and i find that I end up shining headlamps into other people's faces and bumping them into eyepieces, so I like the neck lanyard except when my hands are full and I need to look at a star chart. But I still prefer the neck lanyard for most astronomy needs. The switch between red and white is very good with an obvious click and change of direction required, so there's no way to accidentally switch to bright white and ruin dark adaptation.The only problem I've had so far is that the lanyard is attached to a fairly small screw in the back, held in place by a little o-ring. I am a flight instructor CFII and understand the importance of having a reliable light. I have an original Skylite that I purchased many years ago and it still works flawlessly. This one is even better. What makes this light stand alone is the ability to adjust the brightness. I would highly recommend this flashlight.

Product works good and easy to install. One thing that prompt me with 3 star is its connection is spoke configuration, meaning if you put it under the cabinet, you cannot have one at far end and work it in links. upto 3 light will connect to connector which then a relay cable will bridge it to next set. It would be nice if there was a relay connector build into the each light like some products. that will eliminate bulky wire setting.

Pro Track® Black Mini Accent Headboard Clip Light Reviews
I read in bed and have used this lamp for a few nights. The lamp clips easily to the headboard, throws a good light on what I am reading, and while the off-on knob is stiff I think this will become easier with time. While I am satisfied with the lamp, buyers should be aware that the up and down range for the light is limited, possibly about 20 degrees; and there is no sideways adjustment, so the light must be clipped directly above the reader's shoulder. This works for me but possibly not for all headboards.
like a good buy but make sure to measure your headboard as this will NOT fit most..mine
is not that big..barely an inch and a half that this would NOT fit on it....it wont open wide enough. I would think the lamp would be fine for a small desk or anything that is not over an inch and a half thick.

Look at all the reviews, fairly high % of problems with this lamp.
I don't think LAMPS PLUS makes these, Just sells them. A little better quality control & this would be a nice little reading Lamp.

Mine was broken around the rim inside the box...so sending back....light seemslike a good buy but make sure to measure your headboard as this will NOT fit most..mine

I can't say enough good things about these lights. They're pricey, but it seems to be hard to find good looking solar string lights. They're hand blown glass, and absolutely gorgeous. There is a very generous amount of wire between the solar panel and the first light, so it's much easier to put them somewhere sunny for charging. They also come with hooks for hanging, which is a first that I've seen from any seller. These lights are heavier than the typical string light, due to the thick glass. They do glow for a long time at night. It's nearly 1am here and mine are going strong. The picture provided by the seller is very accurate to how they look at night. It's a beautiful electric blue, and it highlights the beautiful hand-made features of the glass. Perfect for mood lighting on your patio or in your garden.

I've had these lights for a few months now I really love them. I have them in a tree and they look great at night. They come with hooks to hang the lights on with and a large solar panel to catch the rays for charging. I put the solar panel in a plant pot so it can be moved to catch the rays of the sun as the sunlight changes with the months. I've been on a solar lighting craze this year, buying a variety of lights to understand where the technology is and where it's best used.The Aurora string of lights are very similar to small Christmas bulbs, they even have a loop at the top with a copper hook to hang off your tree, patio, cable or landscaping.
These lights are not very bright. They only provide enough light so that they glow. They could not be used to illuminate anything except to be used as a decoration or as a demarcation for a path. The led element is only about a 150 degree spread, meaning that the light is directional (if you look at the glass bulb from the top, you'll see very little light) and the direction is not directly down from the hook so when they hang, the illumination direction sometimes faces away from you and if that happens the light appears to be hardly illuminated at all.
I've been testing the lights in southern California full sunshine for the past few weeks, so the solar receptor receives at least 8 hours of full and intense sunlight each day.
I would make the following suggestions to the manufacturer: 1. Increase the capacity of the solar panel, battery and output of the led to make the lights brighter. 2. Adjust the capacitor to allow the led's to shine brighter but for a shorter period of time (the current lights will still be dimly lit at dawn) who needs lighting at 4:00am? 3. Change the packaging to be foam or cardboard. The current molded plastic packaging is a terrible shock absorber and one of our lights arrived broken because the plastic packaging is inadequate.
Overall, if you need a decorative light for landscape or string a cable overhead for a party, these add a nice element of glow but if you expect a light for illumination, look elsewhere.

Despite the one bad review on here, I decided to try these out because the exact same solar light got good reviews in the other colors. I wanted the soft, golden light.So far I am very happy with the purchase. I have had the lights for one week, and they are beautiful and work well. I will update my review in a few months and let you know if they are still working, but so far I give them 5 stars.

I love that these lights are solar powered it seems like a very safe option for outdoor lighting and makes it easy to place the lights anywhere you desire. I attached the solar panel to the top of my corner fence post instead of staking it into the ground seems like it gets lots of sun this way and keeps the electrical cord out of the way. The glass globes are beautiful and made of quite thick, crazed glass. My only disappointment was that the electrical cord/wire connecting the globes is white for my use hanging them on a wooden fence or among foliage a brown or black cord would have been more subtle to conceal. I initially thought that the light from the "clear/white" variety was too blue-ish, although this seems to be typical of many solar LED lights however after a about a week it looked much more white and I've decided to keep them. The clear version does provide a much brighter light than the "clear/amber" variety: that item was also clear glass, but lit up amber at night. I found the actual light produced by the amber version to be much dimmer and returned them.

I bought several of these last year at IKEA, and we used them all summer for camping and outside events. The fabric is great (rather than paper), because they are durable and travel well. The fabric has faded now to a very very light pink. So I found these on Amazon and they are exactly the same as the ones I already have. Tested them out and they all work great. We are Solar LED fans and have tons and tons of different solar led lighting. These are one my favorites in our collection.

I have ordered these twice and am back for more. I cannot imagine my backyard/pond area without them. They are good quality lights that charge, even on cloudy days, and they stay on until daylight. The first one arrived at my door at dusk and I hung it out figuring I would not see any light until it had charged for a full day of sun. Wrong! It went on at dusk and was still on the next morning. They are beautiful and give a surprising amount light. I only wish the people who make solar floodlights could make them this reliable and long lasting. All three lights are still performing perfectly. They really cheer up a yard. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are like having full moons in your own yard. I love these lamps! The lights come on at dusk and so far they stay lit all night long. Everytime I look at them they just make me happy. I love watching them bouncing in the breeze. Some other reviews mentioned that they can be mishapen. It takes just a few quick seconds to smooth them out and shape them when you put the frame in. They've held up great so far in breezy days, rainy days and with tree pollen on them. Even if I have to replace for next year they have been well worth the money (and these were by far the most economical I've found) just for the silly pleasure it brings me!If you have the solar bug and like to look at stuff like this in your yard/garden. Go for it!
Update: It is the end of the summer and the lights are still glowing away. They are quite dirty by this point but I never brought them in. They don't seem to wash up but unless you are right next to them you can't really tell. All in all they've held up very well and I will keep them up through winter. I will likely get a fresh set for next Spring.

Purchased this bulb from Walmart for about $10 cheaper than on here. We have 8 canister lights in our kitchen that all use 65w... I was worried that this was going to be weak compared to the others... boy was I wrong. This light is very crisp and warm. We are going to replace the who set with these now. They are guaranteed for 6 years and supposed to last up to 13 or more years. Hopefully, I won't have to write another review for at least another 10 years.

I bought these at Wal Mart for $20 each on clearance. I have six of these mounted over my aquarium. The 3000K temperature gives a good light and the LED's impart that slight shimmer on the rocks and sand in the tank that sunlight would make when wind blows over the surface. First let me open by saying we have owned these LED par30 short necks for 2 years. These bulbs are supposed to last 25,000 hours. Not for us. 7 out of 9 bulbs have permanently dimmed to about half brightness all within 5000 hours of use. Yes they still operate but of course need to be replaced. They look great with their swirling plastic heat sink, however I suggest trying an alternate manufacturer. Also we have noticed several retail chains have pulled this item from their shelves recently. Think twice.

This is a very nice accent piece for use around your home and garden. It is very attractive and easy to install and set up. It is solar charged using an internal rechargeable battery that is replaceable. It has a small solar panel on the pole that must receive direct sunlight at least 8 hours a day for about 6 hours of use at night. It can stay lit to a little over 8 hours if it receives more sunlight. Make sure the solar panel is aimed at the sun to make sure it charges properly. There is also a thin clear film on some of the solar panels so make sure that you carefully remove it so the solar panel works perfectly.
There is a sensor that turns the light on when it gets dark. If you have the unit mounted near a light on your home that is on at night then the LED may not light up. There is also an ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the solar panel so make sure that you switch it on and test it when it is dark. We bring ours into the garage in the winter to help save and extend the life of the rechargeable batteries. We also turn them off while they are in the garage.

I bought 12 of these from amazon and eBay and they are cheap.. The black plastic turns chalky in sunlight and the metal bends just by putting in ground. Make sure water " from sprinklers" doesn't hit them.... They will just stop working..
Cheap Eiko 05423 - SP42/50K - 40 Watt Compact Fluorescent Spiral Light
I have been using Eiko compact fluorescent bulbs in my conservation studio because it has really nice color balance. The bulbs come on quickly, and seem to last a very long time. Not the same quality you might find at the local hardware store. These might be a little more expensive, but are well worth the cost.

Colors are great with these! Been using the standard 25 watt incandescent color bulbs for years. I was never satisfied with the color they produced. They all had washed out color. These led bulbs produce pure perfect colors. They look great! A lot brighter then I thought they would be. I use them in ceiling cans in my home theaters. They run cool.
Now some clarification on how they work.
If you have more then one bulb on a circuit, controlling one will not control the others. Which is just what I wanted. They make these with a master/slave pack. They have a single control wire so one with control the other bulbs.
Settings are saved per bulb when you turn off with your wall switch. Some claim that they don't and go into demo mode. See below.
I'll try to make this easy to understand. I found this accidentally.
I set four bulbs on the same circuit to different colors. Then I switched off and on by the light switch on the wall. All the bulbs went into flash mode.
Then turned off and on again. Bulbs went into strobe mode.
Every time I switched off and on with the wall light switch, the bulbs changed mode and were synchronized.
To get them back to my original settings, I left the switch off for about 30 seconds. Not sure of the time needed.
So a wired light switch will control the mode of all bulbs. Which is great! No need to by any of the master/slave bulbs.
Lastly, there are 3 LEDs in each bulb. One for each primary color.
If anyone has any questions, post comments on this review. I will answer them.

The bulb works great and the colors are greathowever, it didn't come with any instructions at all as to how to work it. So for setting it to a specific color or to do the cool things it supposed to doyou can't even figure out how to do it? Bulb came in a box with a sticker that says 1313BU-CV Par38 8W. Over that sticker they just placed another sticker that says 1313BU 15 Watt. The bulb itself has PAR38 8W written on it. I took a power meter and measure the power drawn by the bulb... 8 watts. By my best guess they took an 8 Watt bulb and are trying to pass it off as 15 Watt one.

I was a little skeptical of these lights, but they have exceeded my expectations. They are very bright, and a great addition to any lighting setup for more oomph in the vegetation cycle. The only downside is that I wish it had a little more range in its wavelengths besides pure 450nm. My research tells me that plants would grow a little better when they get more of a subtle range of blue wavelengths. It has been working great though; my plants' leaves were starting to turn a little yellow from too much red light, since blue light helps the development of chlorophyll. Two days under these guys, and they are healthy and green again!I may need more of these in the future and due to the good value and modularity of these, I may buy several more instead of a pricier, higher wattage single unit.

A lot of reviews on this are bad because they thought they were getting a 15W bulb and it was an 8. Amazon seems to have fixed the title but didn't take down the reviews.So, the bulb is 8W and works perfectly. I bought it for a nightlight for my aquarium actually, it's plenty bright and seems to be very well made. I would buy again.

This is the third time I order some form of bulb from Amazon which comes at half the claimed power (see photo). I don't understand why they're not doing anything about it.Returned the bulb and got a replacement. The new one is still 8 Watts.
I decided to give it a try anyway starting some Russian heirloom seeds. They all stretched to no end and died.
This bulb is terrible.
Returning the second one too.
