The bulbs arrived quickly and well packaged. All bulbs were the same G8 size; there was even a quality control slip in the box indicating that they were checked. The light is well matched to my other bulbs in color tone (a bit on the warm side, not a cooler light like a xenon bulb). The only issue is that I received frosted bulbs; the picture indicates clear bulbs. This was not a problem in my application (I imagine that they ship both). For the price this was a great purchase. Yes, the bulbs are made in China, but so are most of the other options, like the Feit bulbs.

Not a whole lot to write about here. This style of bulb was much less expensive online than purchasing them individually at Home Depot. They showed up in great condition and quickly. All the bulbs work. No reason not to be fully satisfied with this purchase.

This is the first LED solar light I've bought, so maybe my expectations were too high. That's why I gave it 3 stars instead of one. I wasn't expecting it to be bright just wanted a faint light to shine on a tree trunk less than a foot away. But it gives off so little light that we can't see it shining on anything at all, even on the darkest night. The light comes on as the instructions say it's supposed to, but it's not bright enough in my yard to give off enough light to even see that it's on (I had to walk around it and look directly at the bulbs to know that it was on), even though it's not near other lights, and it gets as much sun as the instructions call for. I don't think it's defective, just maybe that 4 LEDs must just not be as bright as I had hoped (although my 4 LED flashlight is extremely bright), or maybe that the solar power unit is not as strong in this as in other applications. Whatever the reason, I would not buy this product again, although I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. I did not return it or contact the seller about the problem because it was several months after purchase before I tried it out.

I ordered these for my backyard. They look better than most of the Rock-Lights in the category so full credit to them on that, assuming you believe a Rock can have a small solar panel in it. I installed them around my backyard which ranges from good sunlight to tons of sunlight. The ones installed in the part shade / part sunlight area stopped working after a couple of days. I moved all lights to the middle of the backyard where they get tons of sunlight and problem solved. Note: I live in San Diego, so not sure in a cloudy area like Seattle how well these would work.

It looks nice, not cheapy plastic like some are. It's not extremely bright, but it is enough to light a small statue. It stays lit most of the night if not all night. I happened to check it at 4 am and it was still lit. I am very happy with it.

I was surprised at 2 things in receiving these (we bought 3.) One is that the faux rock casing really looks and feels like rock. The other is that the light is very bright with wide coverage. Very nice for lighting our Japanese Maple out front and our outdoor thermometer out back. Good value for the quality. Now we'll see how long they last. My experience is the brighter they are, the shorter they last.

I replaced my old lighting with this light fixture. It looks great and was easy to install. They call the color rust, but it's just a brown. I tried using a CFL dimmable bulb, but it wouldn't dim so I ended up using a regular bulb and it works great. I love the mood lighting with timer settings. Don't know how durable it is, but I like what I see so far.

For one year now, this small, sleek light has cast a low beam all night even during mid-winter, and just enough to see your way around from 10-20 ft. The motion detection seems a bit spotty but I wasn't interested in that feature to begin with (what I wanted was the sound sensor). It's mounted about an arm's length above the back door. Snap your fingers near the light and you get a bright high beam long-enough to unlock the door. The sound sensor only works at close range so the light is unaffected by neighborhood noises.

This would be a great product IF the brighter setting were actually sound/motion sensitive. As it is, I have to put my thumb over the sensor to trigger the brighter setting, which then dims after less than a minute. Not very practical. I AM pleased with how bright the higher setting is--a couple of these would nicely illuminate an outdoor hangout IF they would stay on.

This product is just alright. It's not fantastic but it does what it says it does. The sound sensor works if I snap from about 1-2 feet away from the light. The motion sensor works if I put my finger right up to the sensor, but it does not sense motion from more than a few inches away. I have 3 of these along the walkway to my front door. If I hold my hand above my head and snap, each will turn on as I walk under it one snap per light. I would have really liked to have them detect me as I walk under them, but they don't seem to do that. The light is pretty bright and the night setting gives me enough light to look out my front window and see the walkway. On the dim setting they are low enough that they don't bother my neighbors or require that I shut the curtains which is nice. If you need a light for small areas where motion detection isn't a big concern, these should do the trick. If you're looking for a security product, keep looking.

Very easy to install/use. With access to the space above the living room ceiling and open ceiling joists up there these 'New Construction' 'IC' light housings are easily installed and afterward can be covered by loose insulation. I put in several and had no problems at all, once the hole is cut where you need it the unit drops into place and the supports extend over to the ceiling joists and their tabs can 99% of the time just slip between the sheetrock/ceiling joist. If its just too tight you can either cut off the tab with a pair of tin snips or simply bend it over flat. Then the nails (provided & in place!)are hammered into the ceiling joist. Using these new construction units makes it so you have more than the sheetrock holding the recessed light cans in place. The electrical connections inside the unit couldn't be easier and take less than a minute to connect up. Recommend!

Put these in a bath remodel. Nice features: Easy installation, great instructions, lots of mounting options, high quality, plug and play type wire connectors, sealed housings, but you still can access the wires if you had to. I will get these again for my next project.

Discount SUPERNIGHT (TM) RGB 5M Waterproof Epoxy 5050 300 SMD LED Strip Light

I purchased 4 of these 5-m strings to light my porch. Although they went up pretty quickly, the adhesive backing just did not stick well to the wood I was mounting them to. I ended up hot-glueing the strips about every 6 or so inches. That seems to be working well.

One important thing I learned is that when unrolling the strips from the reels you MUST turn the reel (using a pencil through the center). If you lay the reel flat and start uncoiling, you WILL kink the strip! And kinks in the strip are bad, bad, bad. I failed to unroll the first strip properly and kinked it in a few places resulting in a couple of sections of leds that have one color either not working or only working intermittently. I unrolled the other 3 coils properly and have had zero problems all leds work properly.

The color controllers are apparently pretty sensitive to load. I wired my strips so that the controller powered the first string, then split off to feed the inputs of the 3 amplifiers. This not only did not work, it ruined the controller!

On future projects I am taking no chances with the controller. I'm going to buy an amplifier for each string. I'm going to feed the controller output to the 1st amplifier input, then run the output of amplifier 1 to the first string and (in parallel), to the input of amplifier #2, and so on. This way the color control load is minimal since it is only feeding the input side of 1 amplifier.

I ordered these for a vehicle lighting project and wired many of them to a 12v power supply and RGB led controller and they work awesomely. If you look very closely when set to certain color settings a very slight color deviation exists, although it is very unnoticeable in normal operation without looking directly at the led strip. In extreme cold the adhesive backing fails to remain adhesive, so i would not recommend for use in something like a freezer without a secondary mounting technique. Otherwise these LEDs are a great product and its hard to beat the price.

There's enough voltage drop along the 12v buss to decrease the overall power consumed by this strip to 42W from the expected 60W. There's just not enough copper in the buss for the current requirement. That said, it's still bright at the far end and the power drop is not really noticable. Being double density, it puts out a lot of light. The waterproof coating is flexible and very clear. Even with the voltage drop, the strip is worth the reasonable price paid. If you cut it and use a shorter strip, or wire shorter strips in parallel, the voltage drop will be less.

I needed a solar light for my driveway entrance because it was too expensive to run an underground electrical line out from the home. This product met my exact needs. I didn't want anything too bright as I didn't want to distract passing drivers or annoy my neighbors. This coach lantern provides just the right amount of light for decorative purposes and burns all night long on most nights. There is an on/off switch inside the fixture but I leave it on all the time so it comes on at dusk automatically. It was really easy to install and I like the traditional style. Finally, it gives out a pure white light which is not blue/white like some other solar lights I have bought in the past. I may buy a couple more of these for my back yard.

I purchased this light to light a front walk. It is well made but the light level is more like an accent light and did not provide enough light for my purpose. Strangely, the base did not fit over a 4x4 post with a plastic sleeve, so I had to add a cap on the post before installing the light. The instructions were not clear to state that the on-off switch is under the top assembly, which has to be removed by undoing the two nuts and lifting. Turning the light on or off easily is not an option. If you are looking for an attractive, well made solar accent light this is a good choice.

I actually liked these solar lights. We installed 4 of these on our patio wall. It looks really great. Our installation was done by the landscaping guy who had to drill through the paved wall columns. It is very sturdy. However, my primary issue is that the light illumination is not sufficient. I guess these are only good to know that there is a wall in the dark. One of the lamps bulbs stopped working in just a couple of days. I am not able to find the replacement bulbs yet. Cost seem to be reasonable though.

I'm a technologist, and spend time under desks, inside equipment cabinets, and up in ceilings. A good hands-free light is a great tool to have.

The light itself is very good. Despite only using three AAA cells, the brightest setting provided a lot of light. The small battery also meant it was small and lightweight. The headband, with a loop around and a loop over, was pretty good.

It has three brightness settings, plus a flashing setting, plus "Off". That is all controlled by a single push-button, which cycles through the settings. I found this more annoying than anything else -I'd rather a simple on/off. I always went for the brightest setting. I think this is more of a gimmick than anything else.

More seriously, it suffers from from cheap construction. Thin plastic. A piece of cosmetic trim broke off almost right away. The lens over the light tended to get loose and fall off easily. And the plastic clips holding the band off broke off after a few months, turning it into a hand-held flashlight.

If it was a more durable design, this would be a great product. As is, it's just not strong enough for real-world use.

I recently ran into this light on Amazon while looking at headlamps. It brought back memories from when I received one as a gift years ago. It's complete crap, and I threw it away after the fourth use. The band is crap, the battery door is crap, and the battery contacts are crap. The LEDs are OK, but they don't light up a hallway the way I would like.

Bottom line = Crap.

Don't buy unless it's for someone you don't like.

Arrived in good condition. The positive the unit seems to meet the waterproof requirement. I don't have it submerged, but it's definitely weathered some heavy winter storms already.

The negative mostly design problems

#1 the unit will only charge if the switch is on... but there is no way to know if the on/off switch is on or off. (You can't mark it either because it's a return-to-position push button).

#2 the SOS flashing light is just like the on/off switch and right next to it. Mostly an annoyance when I set the thing up with very low dusk lighting. I guess I could paint a circle around it so I know which button NOT to push. If you can hear me, Mr. Designer, put the SOS option on the toys and focus on providing more light!

#3 It's easy to toggle both of these switches just by picking up the unit or pushing on it. The buttons could have been recessed better.

#4 And the most annoying issue... After charging all day, I only get about an hour of very weak light each night. Calling this a spot lamp is a stretch. Sigh.

This little light is fine for close up lighting of small areas. I bought it to which type I wanted for my project. This wasn't it but I didn't expect it to be really. The light says a full charge lasts all night but it doesn't do that, it's always off long before dawn. In a small area shining on a decorative piece or perhaps shining on a sidewalk from a foot or two above it the light might be fine but much over 4 feet there's little light value. Make sure you know what you need before buying.

Buy Apple Basket Night Light - Fall and Autumn - LED NIGHT LIGHT

These night lights are just lovely. It's nice to find products made in America by a small company--a husband and wife team. Look at the images of the night light at the top of this page. The light bulb is encased so you don't blind yourself looking at it. You can turn the screen almost all the way to the right and to the left. Best of all, for me, is that the plug can rotate 360°. My downstairs bathroom has a sideways plug and most outlets require one prong to be larger than the other. So this nightlight will safely fit into any outlet and the picture will still be upright.

Look at the variety of pictures--this is more a work of art than just a utilitarian light! The screen is large and the pictures are very clear and crisp: the image above doesn't do them justice. There are so many stunning pictures to choose from and what's cool is that if you don't find one you like, the owner will custom-make a screen picture for you, like from a photo. He designed this specific LED bulb: he took the standard 7-watt bulb and inserted 2 rows of 3 tiny LED lights which face straight forward when screwed in. So the glow is even and there's no bright spot. The amount of illumination is perfect. (See the special LED light bulb for sale on the Night Light Designs page. I can't tell a difference between the incandescent and LED bulbs but I slightly prefer the latter because it gives off no heat.) The sturdy plastic image is sandwiched between 2 glass screens and if you want to change out the picture, you just carefully pry off the black frame.

The packaging is very well-done and every night light comes with an extra bulb.

This is the perfect product for gifts: who doesn't need nightlights? These are what I will be giving my large family this year and the wonderful thing is, they'll all be different and based on the interests of each individual. I might even have some made with their baby pictures!

P.S. The reason I'm putting so many reviews is because I had put up a bunch of bad reviews for a defect in my first light. The owner made good on it so I want to remove the negative effect my reviews may have had.
