It is just a fluorescent tube like any other, and it has been working fine. Don't know why Home Depot by my area doesn't carry this size, and therefore ordering it on line.

I used these lights on my deck. They turn 8 different colors, are weather tight and completely sealed, and mount flush to my wood decking. Instalation was easy and each light is interchangable via S-Video connection. I have one area that required more than the 1 meter cord length between light, it was a easy fix by just splicing with low voltage wire. Great product. Rmeote works well, but only if there is a clear line-of sight from remote to sensor, When I put voltage regulator below my decking the remote doesnt work.

These lights are easy to install and are perfect for lighting the vertical rise of the steps of a deck. I was able to drill the 1 1/8" holes easily enough (then tediously drilled through all the cross-boards under the decking) but was able to install 50 lights myself in about a day. The lights do exactly what they say with the different colors and ability to string multiple sets together. A few simple warnings: the more you string together, the greater the chance that you may see diminished light further down the chain, and in one case I found the lighting color had changed dramatically (instead of white looked bright blue). After talking to the manufacturer (who responds readily through email but doesn't seem to answer the phone), they were able to clarify how to fix the color issue simply by rearranging the lights. The lights are elegant and classy and better than anything else I found at Home Depot, Lowes or Menards. We had a new electrical line run outside for the lights and were able to mount the lighting controllers within visual range. The remote control to change colors requires you to be super close to the controller units and in line of sight, but we'll manage. The sound-mode is something we can't wait to try with people over the lights fluctuate to the sound of the music. We ordered more "kits" than we needed; if you plan on stringing more than 10 lights together, consider buying the 10-pack add-ons of lights from the manufacturer. And if you think you may need to put lights more than 39" apart, buy their extension cords too (from https://www.designledlight.com) it's very hard to find the M/F s-video cables and make them waterproof, while their solution clicks together and keeps the connections water-tight. We love these lights.

This is truly a beautiful night light. When I walk into the room and see it, my mind goes to the tropics and I remember similar scenes. It gives just the right amount of light without being too bright at night. I also like the LED bulb and don't mind if I am leaving it on all day (and night) because I know it's economical to use.
I got a bum light the first time--the light wouldn't turn off when I switched it to Off--and in anger put up a bunch of negative reviews. I refused a replacement or refund from the company...just ornery I guess. Happily, the owner contacted me again and insisted I let him make it up to me. So he sent me a replacement of the incandescent bulb night light and I also ordered a light with an LED bulb for comparison. I'm so sorry I put the owners, a husband and wife, through that. This is a lovely product.
These lights are well-crafted with good materials. The plastic image is sandwiched between 2 glass screens and to change out the image, you just carefully pry off the black frame. The packaging is very well-done and gift-ready. Every night light comes with an extra bulb.
The owner designed this specific bulb so it's perfect. He took the standard 7-watt bulb and inserted 2 rows of 3 tiny LED lights which face straight forward. So the glow is even and there's no bright spot. The amount of illumination is perfect.
I can hardly tell the difference between the LED and incandescent bulbs but I prefer the LED because it doesn't get warm.
This is an excellent product. I'm going to buy a bunch for gifts and probably several more for myself. So many night lights...so few outlets.....

I needed a light for under the microwave because the one I had burnt out. I did not realize how hard it was to find this light locally. I ordered the light and installed it, it works perfectly. I was not sure if it would work exactly like the other bulb I had because it does not say if it supports a dim and bright setting. Not as bright as the bulb originally in my lamp, but I didn't match watts so it shouldn't be a surprise. I think it will due nicely as my desk lamp really isn't suppose to fill the room. It lights my reading area. Packaging was fine.

It is a small spotlight but it is perfect for our recessed lighting. It is a bright incandescent colored light that distributes the light it gives off better than I expected. It is as brighter than I expected also. It does appear to give off some heat, but nothing I notice.
Pros: bright, distributes light better than I would have expected for a spotlight-type LED bulb.

This product (I ordered 3 bulbs) arrived from Shenzhen, China 12 days after I placed my order. It was well packaged and all in working condition. The bulb is at least 1 cm (3/8 inch) longer than the halogen bulb it replaces and noticeably whiter. It is not as bright as a regular 35W halogen but acceptable. The biggest plus is I paid less than half for electricity vs a regular halogen bulb. For regular lighting in the hallways, living room, etc. especially when you leave the lights on for a long time this is a very good product and will save you in your pocket book. Good product. Will buy again.

I bought these interesting lights out of curiosity more than anything else. They immediately caught my eye & I have learned to act on that instinct when I have the $ to spare & I'm ecstatic that I did, they were the hit of the gathering! I was overwhelmed by the requests of "will you make me an arrangement, whatever it costs"?! Here's what I did....
1)I began with a medium tall clear glass vase.
2)Secured a medium tall styrofoam cylinder with a glue gun into the bottom of the vase. $.89
3)Inserted the branch in the center of the styrofoam, making adjustments along the way (you may have to shorten foam).
4)Added 2 types of greenery & a few berry stems into foam (not a lot) at angles vertically so as to keep the willow the center of attention & hide bottom stem. $4-$6 (I dismantled an old arrangement that had gotten damaged & recycled it into this one)!
5)I then added some colored sm-med pine cone pot pourri (try to get the smallest bits in the bottom first) & filled 3/4 vase.$5
6)Added more greenery (2 types)& longer berry stems into foam horizontally @ top of vase 2/3 of the way around & bent it downward to give it a weeping look to soften & correspond to the lighted willow. $8-$16
7)Added more pine cone mix till vase was full.
8)Finished with last bit of weeping greenery & berries @ top of vase & formed willow branches to my liking.
9)Set it on my buffet & plugged it in! Total cost for me....approx. $34.00 (I already had the vase & some greenery) WalMart has vases for $3 I think the glass vase with filler is much more interesting than a clay pot!
10)Listened gleefully to the oohs & aahs & the "where did you buy this I want one"!
I have also made one where I filled the vase with small colored foam balls about the size of small bluberries (found @ some craft shops),I recommend staying with a single color batch, & inserted reindeer moss @ various intervals in the vase as I added the filler. The ideas can be endless, I have yet to see an attractive arrangement in any sellers pics yet! Good Luck Ya'll & have fun!!! =^..^=

I purchased these lighted willow branches from Amazon after liking the way they looked on various Torchwood (BBC) episodes. I have added a couple of customer shots so you can get a better idea of how well these produce light. Needless to say, you won't be lighting up a room with these but they look very pretty as an accent lightning piece. Think of them as giving off about as much light as the smaller Christmas string lights.The reason I gave my branches four stars instead of five was because mine were rather sticky. Out of the package the branches are straight(ish) and ready for you to twist and shape into your preferred display configuration. Each branch is a semi-hard wire wrapped in a dark brown paper which feels similar to masking tape. Unfortunately my branches were tacky to the touch and left a sticky residue on my hands after handling (much like after touching epoxy putty or silicon sealant). The residue washes off your hands with soap and water but an unfortunate side effect is that the branches attract dust and pet hair more readily than if it wasn't so sticky. I'm assuming that eventually the sticky will dry over time (granted mine are a month old and still tacky to the touch), but since you're handling the branches so much when you initially get them, it was a bit of a annoyance for me.

Very nice accent lights. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons.Pros:
at more than 3 feet away they look realistic
soft light, probably about 10w total, nice for accent lighting
bendable, so you can reshape them as desired
Cons:
no switch. Instead, the plug disconnects from the transformer block but that still means fumbling with plugging in/out
it seems to be made of a sticky tape strapped around the wires, which means:
from less than 3 feet you can see the tape windings
it's sticky to the touch
about half the length (probably a little more) is a single straight wire with no branches. So the "40 inch" title really means 20 inches of nice branching, with 20 inches of fake "stalk" that you'll need to hide (plan for a tall vase).

This item is a must if you're looking to customize your LED strip into several segments around the room.
You can purchase a few feet of the pigtail 4-wire and some LED strip to LED strip quick connectors, cut those connectors in half and solder in this purchased 4-wire (basic soldering skills required) and use it to break away from/return to a LED segment.
For example, I used an RGB strip along the top side of a very large, 18 foot window with long, semi-transparent drapes over them. Running up the side behind the drapes is 4-wire, perfectly concealed, allowing a power source and RGB controller place somewhere else out of sight.
After calling the company, I've confirmed this is the ONLY possible way to go from an LED strip segment... to 4-wire... and back to LED segment. This is a great (and very cost friendly) way to run a 16 foot LED strip, cut into several pieces, to a few different locations... all using the same power and controller someone remote. More LED strips can easily be added to extend the effect. Also confirmed by the companies engineers, you can run up to 30 feet of 4-wire (additive) in-between LED segments before you even have to begin to compensate for voltage drop.
Also, I was amazed at how fast they shipped it!!!!!

If you're going to be running a small amount of wire for a LED project, this is a great product. This was almost perfect for the job I am doing. The only thing that was a problem was that the wires are BLK, BLU, RED, GRN. The LED strips that I bought were V+, GRN, RED, BLU. If I could have switched the black wire over to the other side, it would have been a perfect match. Oh well, I just split the black at the end and jumped it over. The wire comes with a thick grey plastic sheath. The wire was so twisted that I ended up having to strip off the casing to get the wire to actually keep contact with the LED's. The twisted wire was much too strong and pulled the connection loose every time. The wire worked great and to my surprise wasnt super thin on the inside as I assumed this chinese stuff would be. The wire is actually thick enough to work with and easy enough to strip, works great for extending your LED strip. And unlike the strip to strip connectors, the shipping isnt terribly over priced.

We bought two 3 packs when they were Home Depot's Daily Deal. When I went back to order some for my 90yo Dad, who just rode out Hurricane Sandy, I hated their full price. Amazon beats them by $6 and with free ship we saved another $6.11.
As for the lights, they are compact, lightweight, sturdy, bright, and now indispensable for my family. I placed one on the wall adjacent to a spiral staircase, one in each bathroom, and one by each entry door. I hope we never have to do without these! What a pleasure to get up during the night and not have to switch on a "wake up" light. These provide all the light you need to safely navigate the house with none of the brightness that prevents me from going back to sleep. They are wonderful when you come in with arms full too. Our wrought iron spiral stairs were a hazard with our regular lights. This is better than the overhead light because these clearly illuminates every step.
The motion sensor has a much better range than claimed. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the lights come on when I enter the room instead of having to get within the 4 to 6' claimed. They also activate within a 180 degree arc.
Using the automatic setting combined with LED's makes us anticipate long battery life. Will update after the first battery change to give an idea as to efficiency. Having these lights come with BATTERIES INCLUDED is a pleasant bonus.
You won't be dissatisfied if you order these lights. You too might wonder how you ever got along without them.

Doesn't put out as much light as I thought it might, but it's plenty for the area I needed it in. I set it up in my garage on the ceiling outside the door leading in to my house. Motion sensor detects the door opening and walla! light so I can actually see into my dark garage to turn on the real lights :)Has an ambient light sensor so it's not going on/off when there is already enough light in the area...that is key!

I love these lights!I purchased them to use in my bathroom and under the sink kitchen cabinets just to shed a little light in their dark recesses. The lights are clear and bright. The motion detector works well and the light activates immediately upon opening the cabinet.
Prior to hanging the one in the kitchen cabinet, I had it sitting on the counter. Scared the bejesus out of me when I walked in there in the middle of the night and the light popped on!!
