These work awesome! They're the same size as regular 1156 bulbs, so they should have no problem with fitment, also a lot brighter than regular halogen, and the temperature is at 6500k. These are absolutely worth the money, super fast shipping and customer service is ON POINT! A++++

The reason for the variation in the reviews, is because they are shipping different product at different times, likely all Cree Quality Control rejects. I made orders of 3, 5 and 7 flashlights in sequence. The order of 3 was great and resulted in my decision to make the two subsequent orders. The order of 5 were labeled Sipik and mostly junk, the order of 7 was unlabeled but acceptable. Attempts to return the items resulted in a run around of e-mail, sending pictures, and unloading the cost to ship and risk of loss back to me.
I would also like to know if Happy Electronics, Lucky Electronics, BBQbuy and BestDeal777 are all the same company. They all were involved in some way in the 3 orders when I thought I was dealing with one company.
The product switching is clearly deceptive marketing and unethical, as well as unfair to other vendors. I won't be buying anything shipping directly from China. Amazon credibility and good name also suffers from such practicesl.

You might prefer a US based seller (may only be 50¢ more expensive), so that you get the product in a week instead of a month, and fast returns if there are problems. Be sure to take a good look at seller ratings before buying, and post negative seller feedback if you are treated badly... Some of the cheapest sellers have only 50-60% positive rating, while it is normal to see 90+% positive.
1-MODE VS. 3-MODE:
The cheapest sellers are typically offering the 1-mode light, so expect to pay a bit more for a 3-mode. You should also realize that 3-mode isn't always a good thing... Several reviewers have complained that they don't like the extra complexity and confusing (memory) behavior, so consider your needs carefully. As bright as this is, I insist on 3-mode so I can dim the light, and get several times longer battery life. The combination of high/low and flood/spot very effectively covers the full range of flashlight usage scenarios. I only wish LOW was the first mode in the cycle... you can't un-blind yourself after the fact.
BATTERY/RUN-TIME:
It is a waste to buy 14500 Li-Ion batteries... Most of them cost ~$4/each, and have just 10% more power (Volt*Amp/Hours) than a $1.20/each LSD NiMH rechargeable, which withstands much more abuse. Contrary to some other reviews here, I've seen absolutely NO difference in light output whether my lights are driven by 1.5V or 3.6V, so the regulator is doing a superb job. Although a hot-off-the-charger Li-Ion battery, briefly at ~4.2 volts might over-drive the LED for a small increase. Only go for Li-Ion if a tiny bit of weight is absolutely critical to your purpose, in which case I might prefer a couple disposable Lithium AAs. Also, a single AA is much cheaper, smaller, and more convenient than 3xAAAs, yet both provide nearly the same amount of power. In a pinch, this flashlight even runs reliably on a single AAA battery without modification. So this unit is superior to most other small flashlights.
On a single Tenergy Centura LSD AA NiMH Battery, I get 1.5 hours of run-time on HIGH before the light dims to the point that it is no brighter than the LOW setting. I expect "strobe" mode to get double that. LOW mode lasts about 4.5 hours before the voltage presumably drops too low and the regulator suddenly shuts-off the light entirely. With a 13¢ "Super Heavy Duty" AA battery, I got about half the run-time, which is impressive and useful in emergencies (but starts to dim sooner than NiMH). With a battery extension tube extending this to 2xAAs, on high I get 4 hours of run-time, though the bulge at the tail cap is uncomfortable in the center of your hand.
CLONES:
The first light I got was the 150 lumen Ultrafire SK68, which is a very similar but cheaper clone of the 120 lumen Sipik SK68 that a few people have gotten, which was itself originally a MUCH cheaper clone (using a different battery) of the old 220 lumen Nitecore Extreme: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003F6PRUO/
The blank/unbranded SK68 clones sold here are a bit different than their cousins, with the rear button protruding from the tail-cap so they can't tail-stand, and the thread diameter being larger so you can't swap tail-caps between a Sipik/Ultrafire SK68 and the no-name lights. I really HATE not being able to tail-stand, but otherwise the cheap clones are nearly as good.
SUMMARY:
This is the PERFECT small flashlight. I always carry one in my back pocket, next to my wallet... I rarely notice it and I've always got a great flashlight with me when I need it. With an extension tube, it can fill the role of a MEDIUM sized flashlight as well. With the belt-clip turned backwards, it can clip on a hat for a hands-free headlamp. The high/low modes and flood/spot zoom lens means you get the exact lighting you want for nearly any purpose. And it makes a great whole-room light if you unscrew and remove the lens entirely (equivalent to a 15W bulb). The manufacturer rates this "SK68" light as 150 lumens, not 300lm as listed here, and it's certainly evenly matched with my 190 lumen Dorcy CyberLight. I just wish I could find a large 2xD flashlight with all these same features... The Small Sun ZY-A601 was discontinued, and I'm at a loss to find anything else.

Just a quick review and a bit of instruction that I've discovered to work on my 3 flashlights.
For the money, I am very happy with this little gem of a light. It is small and it uses a commonly found battery. Run time may be suspect for some, but for infrequent to moderate use it's wonderful. For a small carry torch it does whatever you would need to do with it. I use it all the time to get through the dark parts of my basement or toolbox at night on the wide angle beam and for spotting the animals and neighborhood kids causing trouble in our yards with the focused beam.
A lot of people have posted about issues they are having with their lights having either 'on/off mode' or 'high/low/strobe modes' using the switch on the back, but not both. I can say that all three of these torches I purchased have had all of these modes depending on how you use the button and the period in between 'on' or 'off' cycles. I discovered this by accident on my first flashlight which was lost in a motorcycle accident. I ordered two next time because I missed it so much. Of my entire ordeal from the accident the one thing I was most sore about was losing that little flashlight. When the next two arrived the first thing I did was cycle through all of the modes to make sure my last one wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. These two worked exactly the same way. It would have probably helped if the manufacturer had placed some type of instructions for this in the box, but none of mine arrived with anything but the bubble wrapped light inside a plain white box. I assume you all received the same.
Here is what I've discovered:
On/Off Mode (high brightness only):
Click once to turn it on it will always be on the brightest setting if it has sat for a while Click once again to turn it off.
Let it sit for 3 seconds or so and you can repeat the above with the exact same result every time.
High/Low/Strobe Mode:
Click once to turn it on this will be High brightness click it again twice within a second of the first click this will be Low brightness click it again twice within a second of the previous click this will be a strobe at high brightness click it again to turn it off. Let it sit in the off mode for 3 seconds after any of these modes and it will return to the On/Off mode with full brightness next time you turn it on.
You can also turn it on at full brightness and depress the switch only partially to cycle through the High/Low/Strobe modes without turning the light off between modes.
I will try to attach a video to show this. I've never done this before so it may not work (which is why I offered the written instructions above). In the video it may be difficult to recognize the brightness modes, but you'll believe me after you try it yourself.
In conclusion, I think wherever you buy this light it is very much worth it for the price. I think it will make a very practical and useful gift on the cheap that almost anyone will be happy to have. Even if they just keep it in a glove box, in an emergency kit in the trunk/boot, in a saddle bag of their motorcycle, in a back pack or whatever, they will be happy to have it when they need it. The light uses readily available AA batteries and is super easy to use (once you know how to work the magic button on the back).

It seems there is no way of telling which model flashlight you are going to get when you order. I've order from this vendor at least twice and have gotten flashlights with 3 modes and flashlights with on/off. On mine I notice the flashlights with the on/off only mode the orange button is smooth and shiny. On the ones with 3 modes the button is dull/matte orange and has a very slight texture to it. So it seems it is a coin toss whether you get the 3 mode or the on/off mode flashlights. I wish I had any better info on this and how to ensure you get the one you want. I typically use the full bright only mode on all of them so on/off works for me, but I have used the med light once or twice in situations where I planned to have the light on for a bit longer than usual (I took a shower when the power went out by setting this thing on the corner of my vanity on medium light and flooding light on the ceiling). The difference in brightness between the HIGH and LOW settings is very usable The LOW is definitely a lot dimmer than the BRIGHT, but still very adequate for indoor use.Current consumption at 1.3 volts measures almost exactly 1000 mA on HIGH, or 250 mA on LOW Should provide around 2 or 8 hours of run time respectively, from a 2000 mAH Ni-MH rechargeable AA cell.
The beam focus feature offers a wide range of settings. It could be improved just a bit if the focus ring rotated on threads instead of just sliding up and down As it is, your focus setting is easily changed if the front of the flashlight is bumped. Also, the focus becomes just a little too sharp at its highest magnification: The beam takes the exact shape of the LED's die sort of reminds me of a little Batman searchlight!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this model to anyone who wants a bright, small, very affordable flashlight that takes an expensive, easy-to-find battery. The fact that it has two distinct, very usable brightness settings (plus a strobe function) makes it even more useful.

This little light is quite effective for what it is. It's very compact, will give a good beam out to at least 100 feet when focused, and seems pretty durable. The price has apparently gone down since I ordered my first one, so I'm ordering anotherwith free shipping, I might add!Pros:

They do not look like the picture. They are a cheap glass and the "coffee swirl" is neither coffee colored or swirled. They are black lines that do no swirl at all. I returned them. I always read the reviews and sometimes its hard to tell if people just dont like something or there really is a problem, I thought I would be safe with these cause you can buy them from Lowes and such for $50 not so! I do not know if they are rejects or what, but they are not what you think you will get and they surely do not look like the picture!

A solution to this would be to super glue it on but I ran out of glue. Though broken, it's still not a worthless piece, because the entire thing with the broken piece could still be glued back and onto the adapter so that it would function just as it did before, and better in a way since it would be much harder to steal.

I installed them 2 weeks ago. Worked well that night, on nights after cloudy days, and rainy days. Easy enough to install on a gutter, but did not fit too wellon a metal 4 inch gutterthe part that screws into the gutter is not long enough to grab over the edge when the little foam pad is used to protect the paint on the gutter. I had to install them without the pad. Also, the screw to tighten the hinge which determins the angle of the light was difficult to get tight enough (oddly, on just one lightthe other was fine) so it is not held firmly to shine the light out from the gutter to a place a few feet from the ground under the gutter. The light output is sufficient to see who is out there, or find the keyhole, but it is nowhere as powerful as an incandescent porch light (3 leds per unit). All in all, I am satisfied with it, and delivery was prompt.

The clip that is provided with this Gutter Light does not fit over a standard aluminum gutter. It is too small to work properly and the plastic pad to insert to avoid scratching the gutter is a joke. I had to drill holes farther down on the clip on order for the clip to work properly on my gutters. I have seen other Gutter Lights with different gutter clips that are far superior to this one. If your intention is to use this light on your gutters don't buy it, get the other ones with the better clip. The lights arrived on time. I already had 2 lamps, for over a year, that a friend gave me and they worked great. With a shiny reflective pyramid in the lamp, one bulb gives off a lot of light. I received the main body, a tube, and end cap. all put together I can fit 3 18650s and the light is excellent. super bright with all the other flashing bells and whistles. but, it doesn't look like you can use 2 18650s. without the tube and just the cap it's too long for 1 18650 and too short for 2 18650s. SORRY, just checked again, the tube splits in half, so you CAN use 2 18650s. even with just 2, it's super bright. So it comes with the main body, 2 tubes already put together, and the end cap. also a good weapon, very solid. switch also feels good. you press it with a solid click to turn on and off. tap it lightly to cycle between functions. looks like it has 3 brightness levels, a fast flash and a slow flash. The photo on the page for this light from this merchant shows the version of this light that will accept 3 batteries (18650); I am sure, I own one and I am 100% certain. To use 3 batteries, it must include a tube extender which both lights I have biought included. Now, merchants are selling the 2 battery version and later folks will find they can spend about 8 dollars more for the extender. If I can post a photo or two, I will.The beam is circular and the circle is five feet diameter at 10 feet away. At two feet distance held next to my 900 lumen single beam flashlight, the intensity is noticeably brighter (no way to measure), but is probably close to 3000 lumen.
No instructions are included (I know, you're thinking: It's just a flashlight), but there's a specific way you have to turn it on and change modes:
1) To turn it on or off takes one purposeful click of the switch until fully depressed and released.
2) To change modes, just lightly tap the power switch. The mistake I kept making was turning it on and off and it wouldn't change modes, making me think it's broken and stuck in SOS mode.
*the star off is for the un-focusable wide dispersion beam not being mentioned in the item description, otherwise it's a beautiful instrument that's well built and should last for years. Add another flashlight to my pile of "yup, there it is" LED flashlights.

This bulb is a great energy saver if all you need is a dim glow. I think it's a great night-light sort of bulb to keep on in a hallway or bathroom just so you can avoid bumping into things in the dark. It doesn't provide enough light for much of anything else. Of course, if you have a ceiling fan, or candelabra, with 5 or more lightbulb sockets, the combined light would probably be enough for a small bedroom, etc. Just think of it as a 10W bulb, so 6 of these would generate as much light as a 60W.

A lot of my neighbors use 75/100 watt bulbs in their garage carriage lights and I just don't get why they think they need that much light. To me the lights are only there for basic lighting and decoration not for reading a newspaper. So I've been looking for LED lights that aren't overly bright and found these after trying another brand first. The other LED lights wouldn't fit in the socket due to the size of the electronics in the base. These don't require an adapter to fit into the socket.The light level is perfect and conveys a nice comfortable feeling when coming home in the evening.
Lumian Design Mini LED Reading Light (White) Review
This is the 5th set of portable LED lamp that I received and I have to say finally someone got it right. This lamp is bright, very light weight and portable. I am always on the go and often find myself typing, reading or working away at Starbucks. I enjoy that relaxed & mellow environment (coffee ain't bad too, Peet's is still better! :P) but hated the fact that it is often too dark to do work, especially during late afternoon to night time. This lamp really solved my conundrum! It provides ample light and lasted me so far 8 hrs on four AAA batteries. It is spec at 10hrs for 4 AAA batteries. I will post my result once the batteries run out, at which time, I will switch over to rechargeable batteries. It also comes with a USB cable for connecting to Mac (or PC) for external power. My only complain is that it does not charge rechargeable batteries.
Hmmm, what else..Oh it also came with a little mesh bag for easy stow away. I like the elegant Apple-esque finish which fits perfectly with my Macbook :).
If you are in the market for a portable LED lamp, this is it. Don't buy those clip on ones. Trust me, they are not bright enough.
Overall, this light is wonderful. It provides plenty of light and lasts long enough on batteries. The design is very nice, and it is plenty durable for plastic. I wasn't sure at first, but it's held up great.
The only issue I have is that there is no way to adjust the brightness, but I knew this going in.

Second, the light seems to have been designed to be used with a computer since the light can be powered via USB. Unfortunately, the light contains a very strong magnet in the base. Magnets near computer harddrives is not a good combination.
Because of these two flaws, I cannot recommend this product.

This portable light is the size of a small tv remote and provides good illumination for its size. There are two major design flaws which prevent me from recommending this product. First, I noticed that the light casts a very narrow white light with two streaks of yellowish tinted light next to it (Think :Twinkee glow" with yellow outside and white cream inside). This weird cast is most noticeable when reading material printed on white paper. The white plastic immediately adjacent to the LED lights is very thin so it allows some light to seep through which casts a slight yellow color. Perhaps a black colored plastic would have prevented this problem.Second, the light seems to have been designed to be used with a computer since the light can be powered via USB. Unfortunately, the light contains a very strong magnet in the base. Magnets near computer harddrives is not a good combination.
Because of these two flaws, I cannot recommend this product.

For bed, not disturb the other half, but bright enough for anything you want to do, especially to take it out and then put it on your desk for some up close work. so flexible and twists in every way. uses usb if you need that. I wasn't sure if the lights would meet my expectations but I am pleasantly surprised. The initial quality of the lights is very good. The light segments are well made and the lights produce an evenly, bright work light. The control / dimmer works well and helps set the correct amount of light for the application. For the price I don't think I could have found a better under cabinet light package.

I bought one of these from woot a couple months ago. I immediately noticed that the red LEDs stayed on very dimly when the light was supposed to be off which means that they were drawing current and draining the batteries.I returned it to Energizer hoping to get a warranty repair/replacement and instead they just mailed me a check for the replacement value .
I really liked the headlamp when it worked (two nice bright white settings, two red LEDs, one green LED, spot or flood mode with the flip-up lens etc) so I bought another one (from through Amazon).
Well, the new one showed up last week and seemed to work great! All of the LEDs were off when the light was off, so I assumed I'd gotten a "good" one until the next morning when my batteries were completely dead. I put in new batteries and measured the current draw with an ammeter (I design electronics for a living so this is no big deal to me) this thing draws 38 milliamps when OFF. At that rate, a new set of batteries will be completely dead in 3 days without the light ever having been turned on.
Maybe some of them work and I just got two duds in a row, but clearly their quality control is horrendous and I won't be buying another. I'm really disappointed by this, because otherwise this is a really cool product.

The term "Super Bright LED" means nothing in the real world of LED technology. Every one claims their LED's are "Super Bright", but measuring this has not been truly standardized like "Lumens" or "Watts" due to the different types of LED and the brightness/distance they work at.This item "REALLY" is super bright! In comparison to my 3watt LED Mag-Lite, the headlight is much brighter.
Pros:
Super (no... really) Bright true white LED.
Two levels of focused brightness AND a diffuser lens that slides out.
Rubber coated elastic band for secure hard had placement.
Red and Green secondary LED lights on separate switch.
Super rugged! Dropped mine over 30 feet and still works perfectly!
Cons:
Bulky battery case for 3 AA batteries. (Pro: strong protection from case breaks)
Rubber coated elastic is not comfortable if not using with hat or other head covering.
Overall, Super buy! (We have about 5 technicians who have switched over to this item this month, and 10 more who pan to in the next month.)

Due to the high incidence of earthquakes in Peru and the Chilean event, I wanted some new LED's including a headlamp for my family and friends. A local market search revealed very low stocking of led's here and a low "preventive mindset" in the general population. After hours of a rigorous internet search I saw too many very high priced models for the average user, and decided to go with a well known brand that is much cheaper. Of course seeing the "hard-use" video helped, as did reading a review of another brand model whose cord link to the rear mounted battery case was poorly positioned under the front light and fouled the best use of the light. Quality of this model is very high, and seems strong enough for rough use...we will see. I am very pleased with some trial uses for head fit, light options, balance, and light power. I even gave the second one purchased to my brother-in-law who was extremely pleased with it as he had a simpler headlamp model. After searching for a reasonably-priced, AA-powered, over-the-head strap headlamp I decided on the Energizer Hard Case and ordered one of these headlamps six months ago. It's been serving me well since. Battery life is excellent, even on Eneloop NiMH batteries, the beam throw and brightness is exactly what I need when outdoors and the diffuser does a great job at spreading light when I'm working up close (usually on or under automobiles or on my RV).Having the additional strap on top of my head means I don't have to cinch the straps down nearly as much to keep everything from moving, so this unit is far more comfortable than any standard strap models I've used, which tend to become an annoyance after 30 minutes or more of use. The battery pack is large enough and has just enough foam that I can rest the back of my head on the ground or my crawler in reasonable comfort. The silicone bead that's on the inside of the strap does leave a mark on my forehead that takes an hour or so to disappear but I'm not bothered by it. I don't notice the weight at all on my head, probably due to the fact that the unit is reasonably balanced fore and aft. This unit has a solid feel to it and I appreciate that.
One thing to note: I recently purchased two more of these lamps and last night I started to notice literally a brown spot in the center of the white beam on one of the units I've used for about 3 hours now. Upon inspection I noticed the face of the LED had noticeably turned dark. Light output was less than half of my other units. I was still in the window to return it to Amazon so back it's going to go and a replacement should be here in two days. I'm guessing the LED was defective (it was running warmer than my other lamps do) which is why I think it's wise to give things like these lamps a good few hours of use to prove out any defects early after which I'm willing to bet the failure rate goes way down (standard bathtub curve). I like these lamps enough that I will still give them the full 5-star rating.
UPDATE 08/13/2012: I just noticed a second headlight is failing in the same way an earlier one did. The white LED has turned brown and dramatically reduced the light output and made the unit noticably warmer. My hope is this unit was the second of two I purchased at the same time and that a bad batch of LEDs made its way in to both lights and a replacement will not have the same problem. I will be sure to update my review after I get through with my experience with Energizer since I have had this unit longer than the Amazon 30-day return window.
UPDATE 09/20/2012: Now all four of these I've purchased have failed in the same manner. The white LED turns brown and light output falls off substantially. I sent two back to Energizer on a warranty return about two weeks ago (they were apologetic and sent me a shipping label and instructions to return) and will hopefully receive problem-free replacements shortly. My third one is fading fast as well. Again, I hope it was just a bad batch of LEDs that mine were drawn from. It now appears that Amazon.com has posted a note on the product page that there may be an issue with their supply of these lights. Let's hope it is all getting sorted out. This is a 5-star product if the white LED would just work correctly!
Update 04/22/2013: I have replaced two of these and have a return label for the third one (fourth was returned under Amazon's 30-day policy). Both replacements have a few dozen hours on them using the white LED and all seems well. From my experience, Energizer seems to have worked out the problem and I now highly recommend this headlamp again.
Best Beacon 600 by IMG Lighting - Black LED Desk Light Table Lamp Deals
I bought two of this IMG Lighting Beacon 600 because of reviews I read on the internet and here at Amazon. What really caught my attention is the LED light color quality. We all know LED means alot of things... from dim bluish to glaring bright white light that are unusable. Beacon 600 lamp got the best... it is a perfect blend of white and warm white that is incredibly just right. After all, we want a perfect desk lamp right? I also like the fact they used Osram bulbs rather than some generic LEDs. It really does speak for the quality.
I also do like the style of this lamp... it is like a piece of art. If you fold it down, everyone will ask 'What is that>?' It is very nice to have something that is not just a desk lamp or if you want to hide it. I think IMG did a great job on this and I would like to see IMG come out with new sleek desk lamps with outstanding color LED that are pleasing to our eyes.
It seems expensive but once you turn it on and tried it for a couple of days, you will know you got the right one and is worth it. After all, the life of the LED will last super long 50,000 hours... theoretically will last like 30+ years if you use it 4 hours a day for 356 days a year... etc.... too long... lol. Very little heat and super low energy consumption. Lightyears better than halogen lamps during air conditioner season.

Sliding to the right of the power switch, sliding outward increases the brightness of the 5 warm white LEDs.
The unit is mostly polished plastic, with good adjustability from the base and the head where the LEDs are mounted. It really runs cool, not warmth to be felt after running all day.
I am pleased with the unit, and hope it runs a long time......one question, why is the Black model less costly on Amazon than the whtie or red units?

I purchased the IMG Beacon 600 lamp solely because of its sleek modern design and for the LED lighting. You can adjust the position of the lamp to accommodate any task you are working on and the surface never gets hot. I've been using this to read with for the last few days...and my eyes have never been happier. Whether reading a conventional book or my Kindle, the Beacon hasn't caused eye fatigue for me and I have it as my table lamp in the living room. I am very glad I decided to purchase this lamp. I purchased this product primarily over concern for the long hours I spend next to my desklamp, which used to be a halogen lamp with a UV guard/lens. There was a space between the UV lens and bulb chamber, so UV could reflect out of the lamp, besides there is no way to really know what UV is getting through the glass without a testing device. With increased age, I am very concerned with UV exposure, even if limited, and didn't want any chance that my desk lamp would contribute to degrading my eyesight and even age my skin (or even cause cancer!). After doing research on the subject, I found that LEDs for lighting do not produce any Ultra Violet radiation. However, in the end, it is a much better light quality, with uniform intensity and lower operating cost than the halogen desk lamp. Catchy title right? LOL Honestly, this has to be the sexiest lamp ever. Granted, its sleek and futuristic design is gorgeous, but the actual lighting is amazingly bright. As a college student, I spend more than 4-5 hours a day just studying. Currently, I read roughly 400-500 pages worth of text from all of my classes and needless to say, lighting is sooooo very important. Unfortunately, I have been sitting here with your typical "college kid desk lamp." Plain and simple: I have been suffering horrible headaches. Not anymore, thanks to IMG Lighting! If you're one to practically live at your desk, do invest in a Beacon 600. It will not only save your eyes from a lot of strain, but it will definitely add a bit of sexiness to your work space, desk, etc.
