Works just fine. Stable. Has 4 different light levels. Def bright enough to 'enlighten' my desk at work and I love that I can move the light strip in any direction. Actual height is a little lower than 17".

Cheap 30W High Qualigy LED Spotlight Flood Light High Power Wall Wash
This light is very bright, brighter than my 65Watt CFL floodlight! The light color is pure white as expected; no blue or yellow tint. The build seems solid externally and is quite heavy. It draws about 30W from 120V line as expected. After about 30min of test run the lamp is only warm to the touch so overheating shouldn't be an issue. LED tends to die prematurely if it's overheated (true for most anything) so hopefully this lamp would last a long time assuming the power supply is of good quality.
Overall for less than $20, this is a fantastic light!

The 1 spider I received (never got the 8 as described) is wonderful and perfect for Halloween decorating. It is hard plastic and not flexible but I didn't need flexible so it works for me. I have placed this order twice and only received 1 spider as opposed to 8 which is what the description reads.Amazon is aware of the problem and working on fixing it.

the bulb works fine its a 12 volt bulb it does suck the power down quite quickly I have found other bulbs much more efficient.
I already had an 120watt max transformer powering 12 10w G4 walkway lamps.
So, I was faced with upgrading the converter to accommodate an additional 150 watts (3x50each).
This was painful because the transformers are quite expensive.
Then I realized that 12v LED bulbs were available for all of this and that the total watts with that
technology would be well below the 120w max of my current transformer.
So I replaced everything with LEDs and I think its about 30w total.
That saves about $3/month in electricity. Total for the LED bulbs was about $30.
So I never used these 12v incandescent bulbs.
The quality of light of the 12v incandescent than the E27 LED bulbs I found.
I'm very happy with the G4s I found which were about 2.5watts.

as it says in the title, it's very bright. It's a blue/white light so not a cozy lighting but great for my daughter who reads before bedtime. She loves the flashlight option and in the week that we've had it, it's been incredibly handy.

I installed a dozen or more of the Malibu Cast Metal Tier Lights a few years ago and since then I have had to replace many of them over time. I can tell you some of the problems I have encountered.
I really don't like the connectors because they often become loose and then the light goes off. Also, the teeth broke off on one or two lights. I just discovered that Pacific Bay (sold at Orchard Supply Hardware) makes an identical light with a much better, more secure connector.
The four bolts that connect the fixture top can rust and become difficult or impossible to remove when it becomes time to replace the light bulb. So what I do to prevent that is I tighten the bolts, and then I loosen them about a quarter turn. That does the trick. You can also spray a little WD-40 if necessary.
Another problem I have encountered with these lamps is that some of them have broken off at the base for no apparent reason other than they were old.
And one other thing, the plastic globe can become brittle and break apart after a few years.

I ordered four, one arrived DOA; one of the two 'teeth' that cuts into the cable and makes the electrical connection dropped out of the light into the grass. It is small and was never found. Bottom line is the light isn't usable. The other three worked OK.Four bolts inserted from the top hold the fixture together. I can imagine they will be rusted and difficult or impossible to remove in a year when a bulb burns out.
Bottom line inexpensive but so-so.

I installed these a few years ago around the front of my house. They're set up to turn on at dusk and off at dawn. The bulbs just started burning out recently, so you get a little over a couple of years with these before needing a bulb replacement. I didn't experience any rust problems with the bolts like other reviewers said and all 10 of them have been working as advertised. Occasionally, you have to hit the lamp or wiggle it around to get the light to turn on the electrical connections could be better. Overall, however, I like the lights and will buy more for my backyard as soon as I get the time to install them.

This is the first headlamp I have ever purchased. I liked the fact that you did not have to wear it on your head it has a retractable "cord" so you can use it in different ways. I think the light is bright enough (40 lumens) and it is very compact. There are two different brightness settings, plus a flashing light as well. I've used it on two camping trips and it worked great. Very satisfied with the purchase.

We have several of these and they are great for travel, hiking, hunting, work where light is needed, etc. These are much better than the kind with a big strap that goes around head. Very small, light weight and you can use on head, wrist or hold in hand. The retractable string in the place of a standard strap is wonderful. It does not pull so tightly as to be uncomfortable, but it is just right to stay in place as I hike, jog, crawl, and everything else. I use it for both backpacking and for work, and it is great.My only complaint is that the light is pointed somewhat downward. so it has to sit pretty high on my forehead in order to see very far out in front of me.
Next time I need a headlamp, I won't shop around. I'll buy a Zipka.

When you need a little light and no hands this is a great item to have. Very small and built very well. The neat thing is the three different modes. first click high,second click low, third click flash. The great thing is when you choose which one to use the next click is off. You don't cycle through all modes to turn it off. A little pricey but they are made well. no regrets, would buy again. I ordered this Zipka after reading all of the glowing reviews. I found it very uncomfortable to wear with the only two pressure points being in the front and rear. Even though padded, it will leave a large oval impression in the middle of your forehead. Also this Zipka is not adjustable and throws a light on the ground about ten feet in front of you; not far enough. I had to tilt my head back to see the trail ahead. Luckily I tried this on a short camping trip and returned it to Amazon. Yesterday I was in an Eddie Bauer store and picked up a headlamp for one third the price which was adjustable plus had red and green lights which are much less annoying when you are talking to anyone in the dark. All Eddie Bauer products have an unlimited satisfaction guarantee but I do not recall how long the Zipka warranty was.

I have been looking for months for a good PAR30, 2700k LED flood bulb. I have mainly the standard recessed fixture in my rooms and am using CFL's. I want to start using LED bulbs as the CFL's die. This is the first bulb that looks to me to actually be 2700k, and the flood is wide enough so its not a spot of light on the floor.
Btw these are NOT 355 lumen bulbs, they are about 650 lumens.
The only negative for this bulb (for me) was that the neck was just a tiny bit too short maybe by just a quarter inch. i really had to tighten them more than I wanted to in a few sockets to get them to light up.
Now if only the price would hurry up and drop down to the $10-$20 range I would get a whole bunch more of these!

We bought these lights to create a display of fireflies contained in and flying out of a mason jar for a bridal shower. It was easily the hit of the party. Okay, these lights are AWESOME. I bought a few last year and a couple more for the holiday season ahead. With the price how can you go wrong? I found these lights last holiday season after searching in department and hardware stores for battery powered lights for my wreaths, mantel, etc. What I found in the stores was these clunky strands that usually didn't work and the worst part being they required C batteries! Ugh. So, I would manage to get them working (very dim even on full battery) and then I would have this really heavy battery pack that was impossible to hide in the wreath when I hung it on the wall. Then, I found these lights....where do I begin? They are powered by aa batteries and are so lightweight, they glow beautifully and are very bright, they are flexible and durable the wire bends however you want it making it super easy to put them wherever you want and I also use them outside in the harshest of wind and snow and they still work great. Because they are LED and not traditional bulb lights, they don't go out!! Now, I use them year round. Just fantastic can't say enough....

Just received this today. I got it to give to my mother for mothers day. It looks neat but I'm wondering if its even safe to set outside in any weather condition other than just a nice clear day/night. It seems as if you set this outside the rain would get in and mess up all of the electrical doohickeys and the frog/toad would cease to work. It had some random strings from the hot glue coming off of it in most places, which i removed already, and some weird green fuzzies in random places and I'm not sure they would hold up if it rained. They fall off from touching them. The fuzzies do give a nice mossy look to it though. His gems are neat. The paint on him is made to look like it has been weathered already if it were made of stone.Overall I gave this a 4 star because its neat and I like the solar idea. Have not given it to my mom yet so I'm not sure how well it will hold up in weather, or how well the batteries will do, but instead of telling her to put it in her garden I'm going to suggest a porch ornament. Maybe this will inspire porch plants to go with the frog/toad and will not ruin it if there is weather outside.

I have bought a few of these now, and one thing I notice if that you use them with certain automatic dusk to dawn fixtures, they cause a buzzing sound at low levels.
The package only mentions not to use them with dimming fixtures, but doesn't mention whether or not they can be used with automatic on/off fixtures. Some clarity as to which
fixtures they are compatible with would be a nice addition. Otherwise, the 2700K color and brightness seem to be about right.

In an effort to be greener and to hopefully replace fewer bulbs in the long run, I bought this 2-pack to replace some nightlight bulbs for the hallway. I cannot tell you if they are bright enough (though that metric may just be a personal preference anyway), but they do cast a whiter light than the old fashioned incandescent bulbs (which are more of a warm golden light) we have been using. I put one of the LED bulbs into a photo sensor nightlight fixture and it buzzed you could hear it across the room easily. The second bulb did the same. How disappointing. Note that the package reads right on the front, "operates on most photo sensor fixtures." Apparently, not the ones we own. I am using this in a small lamp for my daughters night light. it works at much cooler temperatures than the incandecent light bulb that came with the light, which is why I wanted the Led, you can touch the bulb even after it has been on all night and it doesnt burn you. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that I don't know that this bulb is really putting out 80 lumens. I decided to try led bulbs in the night lights since they are on constantly and I worry more so about fire/heat than electricity bill. The standard c7 night light bulb is 9w and it can light up a 10 x 12 room more than decently. Reading the others' reviews about using these types with manual on/off or auto...I have both so I figured let's try. Yes, only use them for manual on/off lights or any fixtures that will not be subject to "flickering" which sensors can be prone to when the room light levels reach that threshold where it can't decide yet. Also, these bulbs are clear, uses .5W but also makes them half as bright or more like 60% less than the standard night light. Good or bad depending on what you really want. If you want brighter, then go for the higher wattage or multiple LED models with no frosted glass/lens. Otherwise, I personally would like if it was a tad brighter but it is less blinding than my old standard bulbs in the middle of the night. Don't pay more than 9 bucks for a 2 pk...
