Relatively inexpensive channels with end caps and mounting clips. The channel depth and front cover produce a nice neon effect when illuminated. You just see a uniform band of whatever color light the LED's emit, across the front lens with no visible indication of any of the individual LED"s that make up the light strip. You can look directly at the front lens without seeing the LED glare, typical when you look at the uncovered LED strips.

Led dots are converted into a solid line like neon. Clever and simple way to do so. Led strip is fixed inside the housing. Diffuser plastic is thin so i though first that i would still see the dots but i was wrong. Clever design. The strip is fixed inside the metal peice BUT far away from the diffuser so the smart move was: instead of using a a diffuser with a thick depth (deep enough to diffuse all the dots) and mounted directly on top of the strip, this one uses a thin diffuser but with a wide air gap. But because of that a lot of luministy is lost (brightness) so lumens of the leds are reduced. Do not get me wrong, this is a fine product that does what it says. Depends on your purpose of using the LED strip. Its meant for accent use. If you want output. Buy the much cheaper traditional floresent tubes.
