Ordered 4 of these to find out they are European base bulbs. However, an adaptor did come with that worked, but now the bulbs are very long. Thus, 4 out of 5 rating. Good bulbs nonetheless. I like them better than the ones sold at lowes.

Not equivalent to incandescent unfortunately. The adaptor is a great idea but adds a lot of height and looks pretty tacky. 1 of eight I ordered was defective out of the box and another flickers frequently. Needs a little QA. Had better luck with fluorescents though do like the instant on. Color is "cool" meaning more bluish which I prefer over "warm". Ordered some more without adaptor and much happier.

My mom has an old school chandelier, which probably with the bulbs she was using was sucking a bunch of energy. And living in Phoenix in the summertime saving money on electric is number one! These bulbs work great and is a soft light which does not give headaches or irritating to the eyes. And it lights up the whole living room. I enjoy it more then the other bulbs before. Also these guys are quick with any problems you have and very helpful!
