I installed 10 of these on a track lighting system serving an art production studio. I have found the 3000k light has great color rendering qualities and this 9w lamp really kicks out good light. However, I dropped a star because I noticed some color variation between the lamps with one of them significantly more orangish in color. In the same job I also used the comparable Sylvania model and they seem to put out as much light with much better color accuracy. Too bad they are $5 more per lamp. Also, keep in mind these lamps are much heavier since they require the heat sink material to keep the LED as cool as possible. That may factor into whether or not your track fixture can support the weight and maintain it's adjustment. I will say the color variation is probably not noticeable to someone installing these in a wide spread installation so factor that into your brand decision.
