This is an excellent little flashlight to keep in your car or bedside table. It's easy to charge up and you never have to worry about batteries. It's small but sturdy size makes it easy to store in a small place (like a glove compartment).

The light is quite bright with only a few pulls on the charge cord. The ring pull on the cord stores neatly on the end of the flashlight, however it can be a little tight to pull off. It might be a little difficult to find and free it in the the dark as you have to get a fingernail underneath to pry it loose. I think I will put some sort of little tab on it to make it easier to release.

The switch looks like the whole top assembly should turn but it doesn't. There's a well camouflaged (at least to my bad eyes!) little wheel that controls the on/off function as well as acts as a dimmer. It's easier to find by touch than visually. Once you find it, it's quite handy.

It really seems to run a long time on just a few pulls. I've had mine sitting next to me on full brightness since I started writing this review. I only pulled the cord 4-5 times and it is still going strong.

i bought a shaking flashlight that doesn't need batteries and was very disappointed. it was tiring and the light lasted only for a few minutes. so i was looking for a more reliable battery-less flashlights and found other kinds such as the cranking ones and hand-powered ones, but so many people left negative comments about those items. so this product caught my eyes. they were different and looked quite reliable. i ordered two of them and was impressed by how bright they were. very solid. very handy. i am happy with this product. my brother wasn't so fond of the idea of buying this in the beginning, but he liked it, and i gave him one. :-)
