Had the lights about 3 months now. No problem at all, works all night every night. We used these as replacements for halogens. The halogen bulb would shoot about every 2 months, and plus these new LED's use 1/4 of the electricity. I look forward to not getting the ladder out every couple of months. The LED's light up the backyard much better than the 100w halogens!

Ordered the Dusk to dawn Dual Head LED security light about 6 weeks ago. It arrived in time and intact. It is well made and durable. The light is a bright white and illuminates our 700 sq. ft. patio extremely well. It replaced a ceiling mount halogen flood. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 for the following reasons: a) the mounting hardware is cheapo-depot and my electrician had to substitute from his truck b) it states in the instructions that it is a wall-mount fixture c) it comes on about an hour before sunset and goes off about an hour after sunrise (this may be due to the fact that it is mounted on the ceiling of a west facing covered patio that is in shade all day)I am ordering two more dual head and two single head to replace the halogen lamps on the four corners of our house. Along with our high end security system they will provide inexpensive added security.
Following up after seven months I am knocking off one star duue to the following: One of the newer 2-head units is very quirky in that I have had to tap it to get it to come on from time to time. Also one of the single head units quit working about 10 days ago and has been sent in for warranty replacement. Jury is still out. Other than that the light put out by these units is excellent and illuminates the perimeter extremely well.
It has been 18 months since I last opined on the lamps. The single head was replaced under warrany and I replaced the quirky dual head with a different make. So far they have performed well. Just wish the sensors were a bit more sensitive as they tend to stay on well past sunrise.
Best Deals for Lights of America LED Security Light Dusk to Dawn Operation Dual
The light itself works great, and looks/feels really well built -heavy and metal. Five stars for it.The overall four-star rating is because 1) it does not include a gasket (needed for outdoor applications... I just used caulk), and 2) there were no instructions... zippo paperwork. (I didn't need instructions, but then I've installed enough lights to know what to do anyway.)
No more changing light bulbs on a ladder! I'm buying a second one.
Honest reviews on Lights of America LED Security Light Dusk to Dawn Operation Dual
I love the basic idea of this light... the LED bulbs provide a ton of light security and this fixture would pay for itself within a couple of years over other dusk to dawn lights just via the electricity savings... but it needs a lot of improvements. A quick note, I did not purchase this from amazon.com...1. It should come with a mounting box and should come with a gasket rather than having to "goop" it up with a bunch of silicon. The mounting bolts should also be beefed up. The light is relatively heavy for the small bolts that come with it.
2. Be sure to have a substantial amount of property before you stick this at the apex of a building. The lights are incredibly bright, which is generally a good thing... and covers a lot of space (easily 1/2 acre in my case) However, if you don't have a lot of space, this light does not disperse and is blinding to look into. You do not want to put this in a spot where it could affect traffic or your neighbor's house... or their dog's house (lol). There is some adjustability with directing the lights, but it is limited.
3. The worst part. After a few months of having this mounted last year, we got some significant rain in the northeast. The rain must have shorted the light sensor and the light stays on 24/7. For anyone who pays to have this installed, this is an absolute deal breaker. In my case, I did have this wired to an indoor switch. While it's a pain in the neck, we just turn it on and off manually.
I contacted the company about the product and the offered a replacement after they "review" the product and determine the issue. This is from the email:

However, after seeing some other reviews of this product on the site that I purchased it from sour for the same reason, I never sent it back. I didn't feel like going back up to the apex of the house, dismounting this one, then shipping it away and being without a DtD light for a couple weeks... then remounting a new one, only to have another failure.
As I said, there are some good things about this light... but a few dollars of R&D would have gone very far, even if it meant a few more bucks to the sales price.
UPDATE 5/13/2012...
I bought a Photo Control from Amazon.com, but I did see that they are available at ACE Hardware stores as well for a comparable price. I also picked up a weatherproof box and cover plate... I mounted the box beside the Dusk to Dawn light and spliced it into the circuit. It's pretty straightforward wiring. So, for about $15, some wire nuts electric tape, and less than an hour, my lights are fully functional again.
So for you guys that had the same short that I did, this might be a good fix for you (although not ideal). The other good thing is that when this photo sensor goes bad (hopefully not for at least a handful of years), it will be a $10 part and 10 minute swap.
I have other security lighting projects that I would like to get done around the house and garage... in the future, I think that I'll just buy a LED floodlight and hook it up the same way. That should be significantly cheaper and less of a hassle...
Another Update 6/4/2012...
Guys, my review was concerning MFG Model # : 9420LEDWHT . The model that is NOW pictured on Amazon.com (this has changed recently) is a completely different design and the price is substantially more that the Model that I was reviewing. I would think that other reviews that have posted prior to mine will have the same issue.
