I got these because I don't have any outlets near a bush I wanted to decorate for the holidays. These lights and solar panel felt a lot sturdier than the ones I had gotten from Walgreens. The roping was thicker so it didn't really tangle up on me at all, which is great.

I let it charge in the off position all day and then turned it on when it was darker out. It was a little dim but it was still pretty cool. The color was the white/blue LED color. These lights lasted longer than the ones I had gotten form Walgreens, so these lights get a major plus. I think I may have gotten about 7-8 hours out of them before they shut off. The true test is if they work next year ;-).

Not the brightest or most impressive lights, but GREAT solar lights. We have had ours up for several days. They charge during the day and stay on until about 1AM.

UPDATE: December 2012 -these lights lasted throughout the season and still worked well when we put them back out again this year. Durable product.

These lights are not worth the price to begin with even if they did work. I delayed opening the box for several weeks since I was away; when I did set them up to charge, they failed to light at night even after a week of direct sunlight each day.

This light net seems to work well. I charged for 2 days and then turned it on. The light lasted between 6 and 8 hours, which is perfect, because that means it turns off somewhere between midnight and 2am. I just wish it were larger. I live near Denver and we get a lot of sun. So for us, it works well.

... if you like LED lights. Biggest problem is that they do not string together so it will take multiple solar arrays to make them work. I really was not fond of these lights but they did work.
