This is the nightlight favored by Sheldon and crew on The Big Bang Theory. It casts a vibrant blue glow either you love it or you hate it. For my purposes to keep me from stumbling in the dark it does the trick. I have one in my bathroom and it illuminates the entire room. I'm sure kids would get a kick out of it, preferring to a plain white/vanilla light.

GE 10937 Blue Waterfall Night Light

...there is just something aesthetically pleasing about the color blue.

GE 10937 Blue Waterfall Night Light proves to be a non obtrusive touch to most any decor, and the shade of blue light emitted from this particular unit is very soothing and dreamlike.

I'm using the GE 10937 Blue Waterfall Night Light in my kitchen to cast a nice bit of ambience lighting on the snow-white counter tops, at night. Highly Recommended! --Katharena Eiermann, 2011

I bought this one and the green one at a local store recently and this is a very nice light. It doesn't look like a waterfall, but it's a pretty blue and it provides quite a bit of light for a night light (but not too much). It uses something like 1/3 of a watt so it uses very little energy. It stays cool to the touch. The green spiral is great too. I'm thinking of buying the red tulip also so I have one of each.

Honest reviews on GE 10937 Waterfall Design LED Night Light

As another reviewer on here noted -eventually the LED light blows, and in their case almost caused a fire. Luckily for me, albeit more annoyingly, the LED in this GE Waterfall Night Light blew literally the second I plugged it in.

Don't purchase. It may be attractive, but it's trash. The manufacturing is faulty.

I used to be able to buy blue LED night lights from a big name local retailer in my area. For some reason or other, they stopped carrying the blue LED's about 2 years ago. So when I happened to spot these on Amazon, I snapped up 5 of them. And, I must say these are MUCH brighter than the blue ones I had originally purchased from the big name local retailer. I much prefer blue light for several reasons. Primarily, it doesn't disturb my eyes when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and because it's lower than the head of my bed, the bright LED's are not shining into my face, so it doesn't disturb my sleep either. In fact, I seem to actually sleep better than with the light I had in the same plug before. (that light was one of those rotating color swirl LED bulbs that changed slowly from red, to green, to blue, with occasional lapses of almost no light some might not like moving light on their ceiling, though it did not bother me, as I found it kind of restful as I was falling to sleep that is, it was "pretty" and mesmerizing.)

An interesting side note on this blue LED Waterfall light... (now, this is TOTALLY unscientific, so take this with a grain of salt, as they say). We've had somewhat of a problem with tiny ants in the kitchen. Since I put in the above blue LED light, I have not seen a single ant. Usually, the ants are worse at night and in the early morning. I've checked each night and in the morning, and not seen a single one (usually, I would see up to a dozen or more). Is it possible that ants don't like certain wavelengths of light? I have no clue as I've never seen or heard of any studies on such things. Perhaps there are other reasons and this is a coincidence. I do not know.
