I actually placed two orders, one for a sample strip and another for four more 5M strips.
The Product:
PROs
1. This strip is quite bright each strip (5M total) seems about as bright as a 75w incandescent bulb.
2. It is easy to cut the strip into segments and attach additional wires to each strip for undercabinet lighting, etc. One complete 5M strip (cut up) seems about adequate for underlighting 36" of kitchen cabinets (to illuminate the countertop)
CONs
1. The actual wattage of these strips is about 14 W for the entire 5M strip, or about 0.05W per led. This is 5x lower than advertised (spec says 14w/M. The result is more strips are needed for lighting.
2. The adhesive backing is sufficient for attaching the strip under the cabinet temporarily but not permanently, they tend to peel off over time.
3. Be really careful when cutting, peeling covering to expose the contact strips, soldering etc. I used GOOP and two sizes of shrinkwrap tubing to duplicate the factory connection and strain relief at the active end of each strip I cut a bit tedious but reliable result.
I held the strips to the underside by making transparent polycarbonate "clamps" with holes between the LED strips, which I screwed (gently) into the cabinet underside with 1" drywall screws a bit of a "do it yourself" project, but it works well the polycarbonate is transparent so the LEDs shine through.
Supplier:
The first LED strip arrived about a week after i ordered it satisfactory. The product worked upon arrival. Based on the lower than anticipated brightness I ordered four more strips. The supplier sent the wrong strips (tiny LEDs, not nearly as bright).
The supplier was very responsive when I sent a picture and explained the problem. They apologized for sending the wrong product. When I returned the incorrect product (the supplier paid the postage) the strips were immediately replaced with strips pretty much the same as the original strip, although they were from another batch and were just a bit different. One of the strips had a small defect which I repaired, they all work fine now.
I would buy from this supplier again.

I have fastened these to my cabinets with a very carefully applied amount of contact cement the time I remounted them and they are not coming loose anywhere. I had to do the same in 2 large fish tank hoods as the reflector was hammered aluminum and they started peeling there, also. For months now 0 sign of any coming loose. The connections I soldered and taped with a layer of electric tape; quick and easy.
The contact cement must NOT contact the top of the strip as it will dissolve the waterproof clear covering or cloud it severly.

'Was wanting to see how much light it puts out. I CAN say "it lights," but tha's about it. I'll be needing to double up (mebbe even "triple-up") to get the amount of light that I wanted.Delivery was fine price was BETTER than fine. (Tha's why I ordered it 'can use several of these puppies for the cost of just one "super-bright" strip.)
