Also, the LED's seem to be spaced too far apart, there are shadows within the illuminated area.

These strips are basically for accent lighting or as a night light, which is what I use them for. Under the cabinets above the counter top, they are just enough light to get that first cup of coffee before the sun is fully up. There are other LED strips available that have a brighter array of LEDs, albeit at about $85 each, for full brightness lighting equal to the same sized fluorescent strip.I initially checked reviews on this site to see if anyone else has had problems with the tiny on-off switch. While the seller has quickly provided a replacement for the one unit that seems to have developed such a problem, I hope this isn't a design problem...

It's a good deal, but after receiving out of the blue 3 weeks later it was a bit unnerving to see that it was bubble wrapped with one layer that had an address sticker on it, and the light casing was cracked nearly in half. To avoid waiting another 3 weeks I super-glued it together since it didn't affect the lights. the only flaw of this product is dim light.2W is not enough, 5-10W units would be much better.

OK but not super bright but good design and able to hook up more is a great feature...for the prce you save alone in electric cost
