It is a very niece piece to look at, but as far as beeing a solar item, it is useless.I had bought a battery charger for solar batteries, and recharged the batteries, but it would maybe blink once, than nothing. tried again today with freshly charged batteries, and NOTHING!!!!! Because of the S/H it is not worth to return it, Can not recommend this as a solar product.

The flower & butterfly all light up. The colors are ever changing & brilliant. What I wanted and then some. Was going to order two more but couldn't find them. Hope they come back
