So far it is still burning past all my other incadnescent outdoor globe lights. I would give it a 5 star if it werent for the high price. Is it more cost effective than incandescent? I expect that this bulb will outlast 6 incandescent bulbs at $1 each, so its not cost effective from a purchase stand point. Will it make it up in electrical costs? Mabybe, but I suspect not. It might be worth it just so I dont have to change bulbs every few weeks.

Picked one of these up open-box for under $12. At first I was worried that it wouldn't be bright enough for a desk lamp since I had been using a 40-watt incandescent one before. The reason I wanted to switch is because the old one heated up my entire room.

I was very pleased with the amount of light output for my uses (studying/reading) the color of light is very soft. The best part is that this bulb never exceeds about 85 degrees F. I definitely recommend it for use in a desk lamp.

I purchased 6 of these to replace some bulbs in our new bathroom. Sadly even with 3 in a fixture, they just aren't bright enough to use in a bathroom. There is a huge difference between the side that had them and the side that didn't. I returned the 3 unopened ones.

This is my first LED lamp as a replacement for incandescent or CFL lighting. I chose this 1.8 watt bulb to replace a 15 watt incandescent bulb for use in my hallway recessed lighting fixture. It provides just the right about of light.

I use these in ceiling fixtures replacing three 25w incandescent lights in each. No, there are nowhere as bright as the old 25w but they serve their purpose well. I am pleased with the warm color light. These lights can be left on longer while not emitting high heat. I like my house with multiple lights everywhere.
