I recently purchased 3 of these Emergency Lights and installed them on different floors of my house. I figured this would be a great addition to my home as I have 3 small children therefore their safety is my number one priority. 1 1/2 weeks after I installed these Emergency Lights, my neighborhood suffered a power outage that lastest for about 6 hours. Two of my children (oldest 11 years old and youngest 6 years old) were on the top floor of my home and the my middle child (9 years old) was in the basement with me. The lights went out and I couldn't see more than 5 inches in front of my face. Before I was able to stand up and plan to find my children, my middle child located the Emergency Light from the glow in the dark sticker, pulled it off the base and was walking towards me in the basement. We walked up the stair to the kitchen to find his older sister and younger brother and there were my other two children sitting in the kitchen with the Emergency Light from the top floor...I was amazed. This product is so easy to use and it is beyond convenient. It was a life saver and ensured the safety of the most important people in the world to me, my three children. This product is truely a life saver and I cannot thank Panasonic enough for a great product.

The most positive thing about this product is the custom made wall mount which enables me to have this flashlight at various points around the house. Moving onto the negatives. The quality of light is a bit poor. Could have definitely been an LED bulb for the price tag of $20!! Also, there is no manual on/off switch. I think there should be one. The light switches on when it is removed from the wall mount and the only way to switch it off is by putting it back in the mount.

I send both back. They aren't what I thought they would be like. I thought they would be chargeing all the time. But not, if the "" C " battery is dead you must change it. A light like this a Kmart would cost around three dollars.
