My daughter (3) likes the night light. She likes blue for her nightlights....any red and she freaks out. This changes colors and is soothing. However, this does not function like in the picture with the Butterfly facing vertical/upwards. So the butterfly sits sideways and one wing is smashed against the wall. And because this takes up space horizontally, my daughter cannot see the butterfly when we have the door open. I have written Amazon tonight about this issue since they were the shipper (I am awaiting their reply). I plan to ship it back for a replacement since not only is it defective, it appears this item I received was used. The plastic package just came right open with no pulling or scissors needed. I posted a photo of the sideway butterfly in the photo section.

That's a bonus for entertainment but annoying when u want to use it thru the night. You can't stop the color changing either. It has an on off switch, no light sensor.

Pretty light, is making amazing colors and my daughter was happy with it until she decided that she didn't want to sleep with a light no more but we still use it in the bathroom for the night .

Too heavy for the outlet. LEDs stop changing colors and sometimes flash rapidly. Wish I kept the packaging so it could be returned. The butterfly is nicely made though and real pretty. Just does not work as it should.

This is very pretty and my daughter loves it; only problem is that when it's plugged in the wings are mashed into the wall....

Update: Bought it in February, it stopped working in August.... So I paid $17 (after shipping) for a night light that worked for six months. What a cheap piece of junk.
