got tis for my kitchen :Hunter ceiling fan, it's 3 60w array of incandescent bulbs were really not bright enough. Now that I have installed 3 of these bulbs the room is flooded with bright white light. A treat for these old eyes. I am so pleased with discovering this product on Amazon,as well as their excellent service.

Bought one of these to try in a nice chandelier. The commodity incandescent bulbs it had put out this sickly yellow light that does not bring out the colors in the cut crystal. New (cheap) bulbs did not help, so I tried these which emit a different spectrum. The light from this bulb is white and intense and so gives a great deal more color from the crystal. It also retains its "whiteness" when dimmmed. An unexpected benefit is that the long filament creates these really neat radial line patterns.
Longtime Amazon user but this is the first time I've ever been moved to write a review. This bulb is expensive but oh, what a difference. I agree that the 3-bulb limit is silly.

I was originally going to use a halogen replacement (MTBF 5000 hrs), but this krypton/xenon replacement (MTBF 3000 hrs) is 0.7 the cost. Both types of bulbs retain their whiteness better when dimmed than the standard tungsten (MTBF 1000-1500 hrs) bulb. And this one will fit in a standard candelabra base (E12).Honest reviews on Bulbrite KX60FR/E12 60W KX-2000 Krypton/Xenon T3 Frost Bulb
These bulbs are really hard to find and when you do find them they might set you back almost as much as you paid for the fixture. These were purchased for a bathroom fixture that takes three bulbs and in less than two years I have purchased five of them not including the one that didn't work on arrival but was replaced promptly. The light is great and the look is minimal for a fixture that you don't want the bulb to be the main feature.
I have now noticed that another one is dead and my husband has replaced it with a regular incandescent candelabra bulb so I guess it all depends on where your priorities are.
