When my door bell arrived I was surprised to find that

it looked better than pictured. The only negative was that

the screws provided were soft and the head stripped out when

mounting the door bell. I had to use stainless steel replacement

screws. No big deal, just cheap screws.

This doorbell is rather large, as the description indicates. I like that the doorbell button glows at night. One thing that surprised me is that there is a half-sphere shape that protrudes out of the middle where you push the doorbell. It is larger than I would have imagined. A side-view photo of this item would be helpful. Regardless, it is a big improvement over our previous, yellowing doorbell.

Doorbell is surface mount. It is very large, as one reviewer mentioned, but when I got it I was surprised at just HOW large. I will try to include pictures I took to help you visualize it. It is about the width of an outlet cover and taller. It looks very nice in my entryway though so I am happy--I was worried that it would overpower it, but it actually looks very nice in my opinion. The screws strip easily so be careful when installing it! It was very easy to install other than that though.

Great quality...large enough to catch your eye but not over the top. Even better looking than the picture. It's been installed for a month, and we think it will hold up to the elements just fine. Good purchase
