The nightlight works good.

The whole negative ion bit...I don't know...had it for several months now...the room it's in is still the same.

I am more than a little baffled as to how to evaluate this light. I bought it for my wife and she likes it so I am using that as the rating for this light. Personally it does not do a whole lot for me but hey, I am a guy. My rating is therefore based on my wife's comments.

We were given a Purely Products Night Light because my husband (used to) have allergies. One complaint I have is it is very bright, too bright for a night light. The other is it caused my husband to have a nose bleed. He used to get nose bleeds years ago when we lived in a very dry climate. But he hasn't had them for years. After plugging in the night light, within a couple of days, he started getting nose bleeds. So we unplugged the night light and his nose bleeds stopped. Then after about a week, we plugged it back in. The next morning, he had a nosebleed. We might try it in a different room, just not the bedroom. (I don't know if it affected his allergies, because he really hadn't had any symptoms for a very long time.)

This is so cool. . . an air purifier and night light combined! It's an LED night light, so it only costs pennies a year to operate, and the built-in ionizer cleans the air all day and night, whether or not the light is on. It's an automatic on/off light, and cool to the touch. This is by far the coolest night light I've ever found.
