This bulb is great. Just keep in mind it is a IR remote, so it must have a direct line of site from the remote to the bulb. Just remember that if you are going to place it into a light fixture. The light also has a memory, so whatever color you turn it of using it will turn back on using the same color.

One of the colors looks like a stAndard yellow and a bunch of others colors for you to choose from it's very good bought two but one is bright enough for my room love this light

For the most part, this product fulfills its purpose well enough: it's a light bulb that can shine in different colors. The colors are, for the most part, nice, though there are a few specific colors that don't quite look how you might want (e.g. yellow is a bit greenish). The remote works well a few feet away even through lamp shades, and the light bulb has so far retained its past settings every time it's been turned off via the remote or the lamp's power switch. The light emitted is brighter than I expected, though not bright enough to serve as a main light by itself. The white light setting is probably a bit too cool for most people to find comfortable for normal use.

A few things to note: for most colors, only the two brightest light settings will not flicker; anything dimmer will flicker and emit a slight humming sound. Furthermore, the humming sound can be heard if the light bulb is turned off with the remote, though it is important to note that the bulb does *not* hum when you turn if off normally (like with the power switch on the lamp).

This product works as advertised. The range of the remote is pretty good. My favorite colors are the red and blue as they are very soothing and rich. The other colors are fine too, but at times I wish it was a bit brighter. You can't really use this on the white setting as a regular light, so I usually switch it out with a CFL when I need normal lighting. I also wish the smooth setting was a little smoother and gave equal timing to each color. Works great otherwise.

It is good for ambient light but not enough to light up your room. again it's only 9-W. I bought two and am using it as I night light so I can turn them off with the remote control when I go to bed.
