I'm not sure what is going to happen when he have to switch to CFL light bulbs these are used in two pieces of furniture that we have and they tend to need replacing every few months. Maybe I should stock up.

Lots of light, tiny bulb. We have a very small half-bath in our mud room, and it is utilitarian -the light fixture is the sort of ceramic bulb-mount you find in basements or attics. I'd had a regular bulb in there, but I'm tall, and I hate the "whack your head on a bulb" possibility. This little bulb gives a LOT of light -plenty for a tiny bathroom -and it sits very close to the light fixture. This is not a R14 type bulb. Or, I can bot put the bulb in a lamp which use R14 type bulb
