This tool is good even it doesn't test all the type of lamp but it does the job really good on what they can.

All T12 lamps that I tested is good even the U-bulb. it doesn't work on F40T10. Anyway, this tool is cut down of troubleshoot time

and I would recommend this tool to all electrician

My company has at least 350 fluorescent tubes, (of all sizes). This unit has become indispensable to determine why the lights have gone out. I particularly like the tube illuminator feature, where i can extend the cradle (from the floor) and the tube lights(if it's good) without having to be turned on. I recommend this tester.
