Since when have cars started coming without glove box lighting!? Anyway, used one of these in my new car's glove box. Had to switch out the really cheap foam tape for some automotive grade trim tape. Orient the battery cover so you can remove it to replace batteries without uninstalling it. So inexpensive I gave the other one to a friend for his glove box. Works great!

They have never consistently worked. When I first got them if I tapped them they would light up, but now that doesn't even work. I'll take them apart and fix them someday but i shouldn't have to.
