My grandmother had always used nightlights about the house including kitchen and dining room at night after dinner thru the night to not only light our way but to add a comfy cozy warm inviting glow to rooms that she didn't need all the way light as we were gathered in another room. HOWEVER, LED nightlights even though cost and energy efficient and last much longer are AWFUL FOR AMBIANCE but the wonderful old fashioned warm glow of incandescent night lights are almost impossible to find in stores let alone the nice on at night off at light kind like these. I like the Good Housekeeping seal of approval on things and this has it to. Will definitely be being more of these to have about the house. For safety versus ambiance; however, I would recommend using LED for night lights for a good powerful white light not amber warm glow that these give.
