This is a very nice and strong ultraviolet flashlight. Like most UV lights, it also puts out a lot of light in the visible range of the spectrum (which we normally don't want, but is hard to avoid). A cheap pair of yellow glasses will block out the undesirable violets and blues, enhancing the contrast of substances which fluoresce under ultraviolet light.
The light works really well to find pet urine stains (warning, fresh urine won't fluoresce), "film residue" left over from cleaning products, poor paint jobs, etc. It can also excite "invisible" watermarks on all kinds of official documents, including passports, visas, official stamps of all sorts, and driver's licenses.
As a note, keep in mind that this flashlight requires one 18650 rechargeable battery (AAs won't fit). Something like the Eternally®ultrafire 18650 3000mah 3.7v Rechargeable Li-ion Battery (Pair) + Charger Combo would work really well.
