I like the color of the light this puts out compared to my LED flashlight it's more natural. I like the little hole on the end, I put my finger in it to hold it and free my hand while I was groping around for various things in my too small tent. I wish the color were solid orange, instead of black/orange, because sometimes when it is in my pack and I'm looking for it, if the black side is up, I won't see it, and then rummaging around eventually the orange side shows and I see it. Also it uses up the batteries at a faster pace than some lights, but that seems worth it for the strength of the light it puts off. I'm also not in love with the twist on/off as I never know which way to turn it...wish they had a more intuitive way.

Get the Tec Amp 1L instead (not this one the 1.0)The 1L is a lot brighter more than three times brighter (14 lumens vs. 45 lumens). The reviews speak for themselves.

I think the US Postal service would be in much better shape financially in more people owned this flashlight.

This flashlight comes with a warranty where you can mail it into Princeton Tec and they will fix it. I have done this once and I am about to do this again for the same issue. There seems to be some diode or capacitor on the unit that holds the xenon bulb and reflector which comes loose (and rattles) and the light does not work.

I love the shape of this flashlight and the finger hole in the end of it is perfect to clip onto a pack with a carabiner. I have owned a few other Princeton Tec flashlights which were not xenon that have held up better so I know this company can make good products. This xenon bulb unit seems weak.

The parcel post costs make this an expensive flashlight to own.

This light is used by me in boreholes to a depth of 3,000 feet. They have never leaked, did have one with a bad bulb that was replaced at no cost to me. I love it.(I have 6 of them)

For Diving, I think it`s best to expend a few more bucks in a powerfull pocket Flashlight.. for sxample the "PT Impact XL". I thinks this one is almsot useless, the light is very poor... Maybe it can be used as a backup backup backup light.
