I knew I was buying an inexpensive flashlight, but I didn't expect it to be as bright as it is. Does it live up to the lumens as advertised?? No idea, but it's much brighter than any $5 light I've seen. I really like the zoom feature although the adjustable lens is a little shaky. One bonus use, the lens cover can be take out to be used as a magnifying lens for fire starting.

Extremely strong and focused beam. In the alternative mode, you can light a big area with strong white light that turns the night in day. Definitely recommended.
