This is a good nightlight. It is a little bright for my bedroom, so I use it in the bathroom. As long as you're a "sitter" when you go, you can probably use this instead of the overhead bright bathroom lights. Standers--please turn on the bright lights and watch what you're doing!

Does what it is supposed to do. Would be nice if they made one with a sensor so it is not on all day.

This is definetely not a night light! it's more of a decor piece and not very functional at allit's very very soft purple LED "glow" (ex. just like those glowing bracelet we use for holloween) which is very cute but, does not give you the night light effect and the item does not have a switch so you have to plug in and out when not in use, very inconvenient... not worth it!

Although my kid loves this light, it is, I think, too bright for sleeping. It also has no off switch so it will be on all the time.

I researched to find the right night light for my kitchen... I wanted one that had a light sensor so it was auto on/off and an LED. I researched that and this was one of the lights that came up. I read some reviews about the brightness of it, so I was hoping it would light up my entire kitchen and it does. I love not having to turn a light on just to grab something from the fridge or a snack. However, I must have misread the description as it does not have a light sensor but stays on 24 hours (and I trusted my search was accurate). Its not a big deal given its an LED, but I just think its a waste to have it on when the room is light enough. Its really neat and an additional decoration to my kitchen, and if I need another bright night light, I might buy one of the other colors/shapes by Leviton.
