Recently Amazons description of this light was vague and confusing as you will see in my and some other reviewers reviews. I contacted Amazon and they have the correct description in there now. Please disregard comments on description.

As mentioned earlier this light has no sensor or on/off switch on it. It has to be manually plugged in or out, if you want the light on or off. In Amazons description I was also not sure if it had a bulb or a LED light. Fortunately it has a 1/2 watt blue LED light that surprisingly is bright enough to find your way around in a small to medium area, particularly when your eyes are accustomed to the dark as when you wake up at night.

This night light really does not have to be unplugged for the amount of electricity it uses. A 1/2 watt LED light probably only uses pennies of electricity a month.

This is a nice looking modern light with an attractive blue glow to it. Although leaving the light on all day seems like a waste, its still well worth it for the nominal amount I paid for it and the small amount of electricity it uses.

So 5 stars for this light since it looks and works quite well.

Terrific night light. Not only saves on keeping the bathroom light on, but it's beautiful to look at. My outlet is in a corner and it reflects blue light, not too much, not too little. What a great price. Very happy.

During the night I want to stay sleepy without having to turn on the bathroom bright light for different reasons. This product enables me to not have to do that. It has a very soothing blue color to. My only gripe, and this may have been my own fault for not reading the fine print , is that it stays on all the time. I needed it to be a motion detector so that it turns on when I enter a dark room, or turns off when it gets light out.

Our 2 y/o daughter stared becoming afraid of the dark. So, we wanted something to place in her room that was bright enough to give her comfort, but, at the same time, not too much to keep her awake. This blue light is just enough! It's pretty too. The quality is great; After 3 months of use the kids haven't broken it, even though it's been thrown numerous times. Lol.

Have had this plugged in my baby's room for four months straight, still going strong. The blue glow is enough to navigate through the nursery at night without needing to turn on any lights that might wake the baby up too much. I sit by it to nurse the baby every night, keeping it dark enough to maintain a "night" feeling.
