I loved this light. Its a lot brighter than I thought it would be. Unfortunately we have high winds on the top of a hill. The red one is still hanging but the NOT FIXABLE holders for the hanging part broke off and the lamp went flying. The hanger threads though two tiny plastic holes in which one broke in half. I like to wing it and can't figure a way to fix this. The internal wire holders not will no longer stay put either. My red one is a little more out of the wind and still looks awesome. PS: White/amber is much more brighter than the red one.

I RARELY leave a review or comment for anything that I buy. However, this lantern is SO BAD that I felt that I had to leave a feedback as a warning to others. I have left it out in the bright Texas sun for about a week so that it could soak up all of that wonderful free energy, hoping that it will glow at night. NOPE. The light emitted is less than that of a keychain light. Glow? Forget about it. I'm embarrassed that I paid good money for this. If all you want is a colored ball to look at during the daylight hour, this might be for you. I like the lanterns very much. They are a little smaller than I expected, but they have met my expectations in every other way.
