I bought this light for a new oil painting that I just purchased. It is OK, but not fantastic. My painting is 2 ft. wide, and the description said it would be good for art 3 ft. wide. In any event, the light is nice looking and easy to affix to the frame. Since its battery operated there's no cord to worry about-all pluses. On the other hand, I do wish it was a little brighter to show off the beautiful piece I just purchased.

This light was easy to install, it is convenient for a spot not accessible to an electric source, but I am very disappointed in the quality of light. It has a dimmer function, but it is not really to necessary as the volume of light from it is very poor.

Would I recommend it? Only if you don't mind the lack of brightness.

I put up one of these and it didn't light the picture AT ALL. A candle would have given better light. So disappointed.

The lamps looked nice, but they were very heavy and the LED lights were dim and gave off a bluish hue. I returned them. The return was easy without hassle.
