Please see the huge variety of screens: everything from flowers to different dog breeds to classic paintings to pop stars to holiday images. Several of the lights come in sets of 2 or 4 different images like the 4 seasons. The seller of these American made--actually home-made--lights designed it so that you can remove the black frame and replace the plastic screen that has the image on it, which slides behind the glass shield.
I'm surprised that I can't tell much difference between the LED and incandescent but that says to me they're both of high quality. I prefer the LED one that the seller had made-to-order just a little bit because it puts out no heat.
See the product images above: the bulb is encased so you don't stare at a naked bulb and you can rotate the screen almost all the way to the left or to the right. The best thing for me is that the plug swivels completely around--our downstairs bathroom has a sideways plug so we can still have the screen be right side up and the small and large prong each fit into the outlet properly.
I believe each of the many, many screens come with a choice of LED or incandescent light bulb and I think it's worth it to pay a little more for the LED because it puts out no heat, will last longer and so should be a little friendlier to the environment. Please note, though, that the incandescent one comes with an extra bulb. The owner had the LED bulb specially made and he's tweaked the design so it's even more flexible in how the screen rotates. It's lovely, too, that the plug also rotates because we have a sideways outlet in one of our bathrooms: now the screen is still upright when plugged in.
Finally, the packaging is so pretty, when I buy more of these as gifts, all I have to do is slap on a bow. Really, really nice item
