This controller is a perfectly adequate charge controller if all you need to do is charge a battery from a solar panel HOWEVER, if you intend to hook up a load to this as well (for example, powering a fan or light), then this controller is not for you because it DOES NOT have load connection terminals!!! In addition, it uses PWM charging technology which is fine for under 300 watt solar panel systems and not MPPT which would be more beneficial in greater power output situations but much more expensive.
