I love this little flashlight. It shines an extremely bright light, easily as bright as my Surefire 6P. It is also quite solid, all metal construction. The facets on the unit help prevent it from rolling away when set down, a subtle but useful feature. Operating it is simple, just push the end with your thumb. The switch is quiet and unobtrusive.
One nice feature is that this unit comes with a belt holster. I don't wear this flashlight around, but the holster is useful as a storage case as well.
Overall it is a bright and well-built light.

I got this light to mount to my .556. It will do fine in the home, but the light is a bit dim. It came with two Lithium batteries, and hopefully it is their power loss and not too much of a bulb for the charge.The light is very well made and solid. Perfect size for the rifle rail.

This flashlight is not a bad one, it just eats CR123's like crazy even with mild use. I had a problem with the end-cap threads getting stripped when trying to replace the batteries. Pelican replaced the cap for free though. They also knew exactly what was wrong with it as they stated "It happens all the time". Otherwise this thing will take a beating and keep working. But like I said, keep extra batteries around.
