I am a tech junkie so I LOVE this little lite. Works great for someone who is on call 24/7 and spends a lot of time at night trying to type in the dark so no one else wakes up. I now have 2 of these, I also have a car adapter that takes USB cables so I use this in my car too. It is awesome. I can use the light down low when someone else is driving, and not have them deal with the over head light distracting them. I love that it is flexible so I can bend it where I need it. The brightness of the LED on a scale of 0 to 10 is a 0.1. It's hardly bright enough to see it if it shining right into your face. No good for 3rd degree interrogations :). I wanted this as a little night light for my study so I can see the keyboard without having to turn the lights on, but it's totally useless for that. Not much use for it at all other than giving your fingers something to play with during long and boring conference calls.
