I have a couple of desk lamps that have halogen bulbs. I have had these lamps for many years without the bulbs burning out. One of the bulbs got flaky on me one day, yet still works so I decided to go and find replacements. This is one of the bulbs and was easy to change and now I am hoping for many more use of use. As with all halogen bulbs make sure you do not touch the bulbs with your bare fingers. I used a Glad sandwich bag. For each of the bulbs I replaced, a good amount of force was required to shove them in place.

Works just fine! Using it for a very expensive desk lamp that I love and was disappointed I could not find the right halogen bulb locally. Purchased 2 so I now have a spare.
