We bought 2 of these for the boat and they are working excellently. We can use them in the cockpit as well as at night playing cards at the dining table, knowing we are not drawing down the house battery with lights.

We had one of these lights at the unit we rented in Hawaii. Got the info off the bottom of the light and found we could order it on AMazon.

I have purchased several of these lights (in different colors/finishes) in the past two years. They are great on your nightstand or in the TV room or by your PC. There is one peculiar characteristic about the BRONZE model that I'm not too keen on. Instead of the entire top being responsive to your touch (on/off) only the very top responds to your touch. It's not a deal breaker but it does make it less user friendly compared to the other colors. Not sure why this color (bronze) is different from the other ones.

Wow, this surpassed my expectations, even though I chose it because of the great reviews! It puts out a respectable amount of pleasing light in a good radius with 3 AA's (we use rechargeable and haven't had to charge them yet). It won't light up an entire room, but its easy to move around and we've found many uses for it. This lamp is very well balanced, not top heavy, and we love the touch on/off feature. It measures about 8 inches tall and the base is almost 4 inches across. Originally got it for dinners on the patio (candles kept blowing out and couldn't see what we were eating!) but we've been taking it from room to room. We just ordered two more because they're so handy to have. Haven't taken it camping yet, but we know already it's going to be a perfect addition to our camping lanterns which take many big heavy D batteries, especially for small task uses like inside the tent. Also, hurricane season is coming up (lots of power outages) and these will be just perfect to prevent living in the dark with hurricane shutters over all of the windows.. At 19.29 with Prime shipping, this lamp was a definite good buy for us.

I bought these to use with my solar panel, so I could light my house without relying on the grid. The first month I used these, my electric bill dropped $25. I tried other lamps, but many of them are small and not bright enough. Not a problem with this. Plus, you can turn it on with just a tap on the top, which blows away other lamps that require contortions to get to the setting you want. Great buy, I eventually bought 3 more!
