these compact bulbs are brighter than I expected but not quite as bright as the 10w halogen they are replacing, but niether are the 15 LED towers which do not fit in the small area provided for my application. the 1 sided disc type seem to be better for my application. I will use still these in my camper accent light areas, just not as the main light source. the cool white color is more harsh than the warm white, but provides the illusion og having more light.

We put this in a set of older landscape lights rather then the 10W Halogen. I feel these are much brighter and way better on watt usage. The rating of 0.7watts must be for the pair, because I am only able to see just a 0.4 watt increase when just one is used. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to save $ on their electric bills and have a very pleasant looking landscape accent.
