I bought this as a replacement for 50w Halogen. It is almost as bright and lights up a significant are just as the halogen. I prefer warm white for the areas I am illuminating now that I have purchased this pure white that is my preference. If you want a bright light this is a good one. Can't tell much yet on life. Used this in a Malibu 50W spotlight and fit ok.
