uses approximately 5 watts of power. Runs a bit hotter than I would like LEDs to operate, doubt it would last long if I used it much. I was considering adding a resistor, but I never fixed it after a pin broke.

Very bright, daylight colored. I miss having this in my car.

Caution if you are buying for your RV. The bayonet connector that is included is a flashlight sized bayonet connector

It's .35" dia, when most RV interior lights are .59" dia, single contact.

So you will either have to cut out the current socket in your fixture or destroy a good 1141 bulb to get the male bayonet connector

and solder it on the leads coming out of the LED array.

Why they would include a flashlight sized connector with these is a complete mystery?

Also they list 5 connectors with the LED, there are only 3, unless they are counting the two small black plug/socket

that attached the LED to the THREE automotive (ha) connectors.

Not as bright as I hoped. Wanted to replace an 1156 bulb in an RV for cheap. Not the fault of the product as advertised, especially since it doesn't come with the ba15s adapter base. But, I thought that many LEDs would be super bright. Also tried the 36 LED version, same deal.

I've learned...look for lumens and power (Watts or current) in the description. Then calculate lumens per Watt. I feel the minimum I will accept in the future is 60 lumens per Watt, 75 or 100 even better. I bet this product is in the 20 lumens per Watt range. Gets hot when connected to 14V when car is charging the battery. Might install a diode to drop the voltage slightly.
