I purchased 4 of these and intended to buy morebut they are very wideI'd estimate 5/8" in diameter. Because of that they wouldn't fit into any of our Nightscaping landscape lights.

It wouldn't be appropriate to give this a low rating because of my mistake, but buyers should be aware that this is a large bulb, nearly an inch in diameter and nearly an inch and half long. I missed that in the description and couldn't use the bulb in any of several potential applications I needed it for. Since there was a shipping charge, not worth returning, Otherwise, it's bright and beautiful.

Bright, energy efficient. I have two floods on the front o my house so I put one of these in while leaving the 20 Watt halogen in the other. Just a tiny shade dimmer than the 20 Watt halogen bulb it replaced but at about a fifth the wattage. I am purchasing another to replace the other halogen bulb!

I would appreciate it if LED vendors supplied dimensions. I bought a 3..4W and a 1.5 watt LED, and only the smaller one is usable in my fixtures. I bought both to try them and decide which to buy more of.

My wife would prefer a 2700 K bulb to a 3000K, but 3000 is what's available. I can't fault this bulb for that.

Strong recommendation...

Replaced all of my 10 watt T3 bulbs near front porch (110 watts !!!) with G4 LED lamps (39 watts). Very bright!
