I carry this flashlight throughout the house. Going down to get a glass of water in the night, house lights too bright, this is perfect! Sometimes I want to read late night, I can read in bed and not wake up my husband. The best thing is the clip. You can clip it on 'hands-free' and see right in front of you. I can't wait to use it camping, when I have to run to the bathroom late night!! I won't even have to hold it, just clip it and go.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have owned many different pen lights over the years. This one just rocks. It is small, compact, only uses 3 AAA batteries....so it is cheap to operate. It has a clip on it so you can clip it to your shirt or pant waist.....nice. The first click turns on the top, single LED light. This alone is all you need most of the time. However, if you need a big boost to your lighting issue, just click it a second time. Six LED lights, on the opposite side of the clip, turn on and boy do you have some light then. It is a big plus in my house.Honest reviews on Philips LP02B6LPB1 Blue/Black Oversized White LED PenLight
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program What I absolutely love about this light is that it offers two choices for lighting. The first is a small concentrated beam, the second is a row of six lights down the side of the unit. The single beam offers a lot of light, but it isn't especially distracting to others in a darkened room. That is exactly what I've been looking for to toss in my camera bag. Often while taking photos in a relatively dark location with a tripod, I need to be able to see the camera settings. This light lets me do that without disturbing the people around me.
I also find it extremely useful for checking the titles on the CD / DVD rack. Even when I turn on the lamps in that room, it's hard to read the small print on the sides of the boxes. This light is bright enough to make them easy to see.
Although they refer to this light as a "penlight", it's far larger than the penlights of years past which were pen sized and clipped into a pocket. This has a pen type clip, but it's far to heavy to clip onto a pocket.
Also, it's not cylindrical like most flashlights; however, the flattened shape makes it easier to grip especially when using the rows of light on the side.
It's a bit quirky that the on/off/toggle-between-single-or-multiple-lights button is right next to the single beam light rather than at the back end or on the side of the flashlight. It's not a deal breaker, but it's odd and takes a bit of getting used to.
Highly recommended for anyone that needs to use a small light in a darkened room without disturbing others.
