The Lighting Ever 10W Rechargeable LED work/flood light produces a good amount of light. I like that it comes with a car adapter so it can be powered from a cars power outlet. Compared to a typical halogen work light, this stays cool to the touch when operating. The halogen work light I have gets so hot it's not even something you can touch when operating without getting burned. So in that regard this is a nice light to have for safety reasons.

The light uses a 7.4V, 2200mAh Li-ion battery pack.

A three position switch toggles between a red flashing mode, pure white light and off. I'm not sure of the total length of time it will run before it depletes the battery, but it definitely runs for at least 2 hours. Charging time to fully charge the battery pack is also unknown but it takes at least 4 hours to charge and perhaps longer particularly the first charge.

Overall construction of the light is OK but not what I would call outstanding. The light has gaskets around the battery compartment, DC input, switch and bezel. It is claimed to be waterproof IP65. The light is aluminum and the stand is tubular steel. I unscrewd the battery compartment to confirm the stated capacity of the battery and the plastic casing cracked when I screwed it back on. I did not use excessive force. Pop rivets are used to secure the stand handle to the body of the light. The stand is metal but is slightly wobbly because of inaccurate assembly.

The AC adapter can accept 100-240V, 50/60Hz.

The light switch was a bit tricky to operate because of the silicone cover that is over it... It did work but you just have to be deliberate in pressing it.

The quality of light produced was excellent and long-lasting. I was surprised at how cool the light operates and how light in weight the entire light is.

When a Lighting EVER representative contacted me and offered me this product in exchange for my honest review, I was excited to give it a try. I've never used a portable work light of this type before, and looked forward to trying it out. Since two other reviewers (at this writing...) have done video reviews and mentioned all the features, I'll not go into that in my review, but instead tell you how I've used this light.

I do a lot of work setting up desktop computers and home theaters. I often have a LED Flex Neck Reading Book Light Huglight (Blue) or Outdoor Waterproof 1600LM CREE XM-L T6 LED Headlamp on, both of which work well and are lightweight. I chose to forgo these things and use the Lighting EVER 10W Rechargeable Portable LED Work Light instead. Of course this was a huge improvement in illumination!

Equal to a 100W Halogen bulb, this 10W LED is also a 90% power saver, making it eco friendly, this worklight has no IR or UV emissions make this light very safe. Shock-proof, vibration proof and waterproof, the work light is also small enough to squeeze into tight spaces. Lightweight (less than 2 pounds) it's no problem for almost anyone to tote it around or pack it along with other tools in a Stanley 037025H 50 Gallon Mobile Chest.

This work light seems well made, but I would not pay over fifty for it. Not as tough as say a Snap-On branded tool, but not cheaply made either. This work light should hold up to years of everyday use, but not abuse. The beam is easy to direct and very bright, without getting hot. A single 2hr (AC) charge seems to offer solid performance for 3-4 hours.

I also had the opportunity to try this light out with the included car charger.

One of the features of this light is that it has a flashing red light, which could be very handy in a roadside emergency situation. Unfortunately you can't use both the red flashing light and the floodlight at the same time, so if you were needing to change a tire at night you'd have to choose one. The included car charger cord isn't very long, so you wouldn't be able to charge and use the light at the same time, outside the vehicle.

I can see where this light will be very handy to me in lots of situations where holding my head still with a headlamp is impractical and/or I need a bright flood of light to a larger area. I like that I can tote it almost anywhere on the roof, to the far reaches of my property to work on fencing, and in my car. The light would work well for those who work on their cars and boats, and who enjoy DIY projects on their homes that include tight spaces like crawl spaces and attics.

A very good choice in work lighting, that shines bright and is easy on the environment.

This small work light has a surprising bright light! In addition to a bright work light in has an emergency flashing red light mode. The switch that turns on the light is a little fussy, it has a silicone membrane covering (to keep the unit waterproof) and you need to press it just right to operate it.

The work light has a neoprene handle and a base (which can be removed if desired). The light can be pivoted 90 degrees.

It comes with chargeable lithium battery and two charging cables: AC plug and car plug. After fully charging the unit, I left it turned on until the light went out. The light operated 2 hours 5 minutes on one full charge.

It weighs 1 pound 14.1 oz on my digital scale. It is 9" tall (from the bottom of the base to the top of the handle), and base size is 6.5" x 5.2".

Overall, I was impressed with the brightness of the light. I found this work light easy to aim where I needed it. I found the stable base handy, and I was able to use the handle to hang the light when that gave me a better angle.
